  2. You and Don make a good team, You did a great job cutting his patterns.
  3. That is a 'wow' project. Reminded me of "Tossin' and Turnin' by Bobby Louis' 1960's That box is beautiful.
  4. So next time you are at the grocery store have them pack in paper.
  5. Corrugated cardboard is an excellent medium for buffing. It is equivalent to 600 grit sandpaper. I use it after the finish has dried. It leaves a very smooth sheen. This came to mind when I read a question. What grit sandpaper should I use between coats of finish? Use cardboard. It's cheap.
  6. Ike, that is the best joke this week......
  7. Hummmm, Ike, they could be super blades. I may give them a try next time I need blades.
  8. Yes sir, They look good. Great ideas. If I wasn't way way behind in scrolling, I'd want to do one. Look like hot items. That pregnancy one reminds me ... Lasy week my wife and I went in a Wendy's, the cashier waiting on us blurted out: "Everybody here is pregnant but me, It was a cold winter."

  10. I have a toy book, have to go find it.
  11. Danny, That sounds like a great method and if it works for you, stick with it. And I like the idea of hot glue on the sides.

  13. Very nice Kevin. Sometimes I think you can scroll in your sleep.
  14. You did a great job on Bob's pattern. Looks good.

  16. Still got that touch! great job.
  17. Redgam, you have an Alabama pattern to cut (if you want) Bobscroll just created a second (maybe third) Alabama pattern. Bob's good at that. Say hello to Lucy for us and pet your puppy too.
  18. What a team! You your daughter and a perfect companion for her. What is your daughters name? She's family here too! Welcome to SSV and glad you joined us. What have you cut on the SS16V? You are so correct on scroilling being a passion. As is well known here, it's an addiction without a cure. Though I usually would not say this, but in your case I have to: I already know you are a great guy and Dad. But "You're not the prettiest mask in the Village." PS: There's an Alabama pattern. boB can show you where it is (Bob, I just found out Alabama is nicknamed the Yellowhammer State, after the state bird)
  19. That is a very nice display piece. The art work sets it off.
  20. So good!! I would love to make some of those. Great job.
  21. I have two saws... but I usually have more than four going at a time. Each probably in a different stage.
