Dust Collection
Dust collection vs. Dust Filtering I want to provide dust collection for the following machines : DW734 Planer with a 4” dust port/hole on the side. Note: DW735 has a built in blower. Mine, The DW734 does not. DW Table Saw with 2 ½” dust port Cutech 12” jointer with 3 ¾” dust port. Jet Bandsaw with two (2) 3 ¾” dust ports. One low and one below table. Breakout on patterns
So you have read that we have a blade supply problem in our country, resulting in me going one up in size to a FD#1 blade ( that’s all we can get here) but during cutting today I noticed that on a tight inside corner I was getting some break out on the bottom piece of my double stack, how do I prevent this? I have read on the web that you can tape a cardboard board to the back as a backer to prevent this, but surely this will help, won’t this additional board cause the blade to loose its sharp

I’ve been a Waylon fan for almost fifty years. I was at the Opryland Amusement Park in Tennessee around 1975 and heard him play, not really knowing much about him, and have been a fan since.
Sandhill Crane
This Sandhill Crane pattern is by Steve Good. I used 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood for all the pieces. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades. After a light sanding, dipped in diluted Shellac and another light sanding. Comments welcome.
Music or Not
Been scrolling only nine months and I tried listening to music of all types through speakers and headphones but I still prefer to listen to the saw do it's job. I just can't focus with distractions of any kind. Maybe when I get more experience and confidence that will change. How about you?
