Concerning Internet Explorer and Firefox.... :+}

I have been using FIREFOX for over a year now and I AM VERY HAPPY. 

I have CCLEANER on my PC and I AM HAPPY WITH IT ALSO.

Have noticed when it is running the SCAN IT shows IE with MANY files

which it DELETES.  Question is..........Since I am using FIREFOX is there

any reason Internet Explorer has to be on my PC?  If not how do I take it off the pc?

Or can I?   Thanks for any input to this................Danny  :+}

Hi Danny to be honesty with you, you might leave well alone even if you have IE on there it might help if you have problem with Firefox to have another browser to use to download a new version of Firefox or Google chrome to name but a few should it all go bad, it isn't a bad thing. Just my thoughts. Roly

Leave IE on . I changed to Firefox a year ago and had to reload Firefox twice and with out IE I would have been dead in the water.

I have also had foxfire for over a year and like it but Ihad a viris get past my antivirus and it wiped out my foxfire, if I didn't have e i would have been in big DO DO.

I agree with everyone. Have been a FireFox guy for years but you do occasionally need to reload a browser. I always keep IE, FireFox and chrome on a machine. Loading other browsers is the only thing that I use IE for.

I have used firefox for a few years now because I could not get to the system I needed for work On IE, I have both. I do mostly use Fire fox since i do work at home.  But I do get oops this is embaressing and it crashes. I have the latest. Also I get Plug in messages and have to stop the plug In. With the Email I use I get a script error and have to stop script. I  have contact my email server and no help. I do get better service when I refresh it every 2-3 days. the plug in and script stop is not a big deal I guess but is anoying.  Well 15 more working day then I retire then will not need to use it to get to work stuff anymore. Not sure what I will do with Firefox Probably keep it  and see what happens without work.

You could take a big step and check out Linux Ubuntu.  I think you would like it.  I make the switch about five years ago and think its great.  Does everything you need, is bug free and virus free.  And being a cheapskate that I am, I like the purchase price -  Free!!

That sounds more like an operating system problem that a browser problem. What version of windows do you have?

Can you reinstall windows? If not the windows 10 update is supposed to be ready by the end of July. I would recomend downloading it. I have a gateway lap top that has 7 and it does the same thing. Just waiting on the new 10 download.

Just remember that to err is human, but to reall screw things up you need a computer!!! I am just waiting on the 10 update myself. I think about a statue that our tech guru had on his monitor when I worked for the school board. It was Garfield swinging a large sledge hammer over his head with a caption (compute this dam you).

I wouldn't use windows 10 until they have iron out all the issues as per normal with windows you printer won't work and every other peripheral, well that's just my thoughts. Do it and wait for hell.      Roly
