amazingkevin Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 4 hours and 34 minutes to cut missy with a spiral ,w/24 teeth .It took three blades and if i was more careful one would have done it.very very sharp blade.the hardest spot to cut was the dog tag. Ceric ME, Loskoppie, ben2008 and 4 others 7 Quote

amazingkevin Posted October 31, 2010 Author Report Posted October 31, 2010 Thank you clayton, like i don't allready have enough to do.This doggy struck my eye as a to do now so i did! When it was close to finishing the pattern was like a fresh made pancake .so droopy ,so fragile .I never shoud have attemped this on thin fiber board .It's what i have to work with, but i made it.3/4's through the project i'd have to arc the pattern to give a little stiffness running it through the saw.Maybe 3,4 piececes blew out but i'm not saying where, lol.I glued 2 and took a break It's amazing that it only took a little time to do.Thanks chance it was fun to do . I tryed many colors as a bacher and brite green showed up best.thanks chance it was fun to do.a little scary at times from it being so delicate. Quote
Oges Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 You did really well on that Kevin, thanks for cutting it and showing me how it looks, sorry once again for such a delicate pattern. amazingkevin 1 Quote
amazingkevin Posted October 31, 2010 Author Report Posted October 31, 2010 No problem BRETT , i've been wondreing what it's like to do a project like this with so many holes. There's been a few projects i wanted to do but thought it was beyond my ability's.Now that's water over the dam thanks to you. I couldn't resist doing ,MISSY as the pattern was overwhelming me to the detail that you found for it. The time went by quicker than i ever though, working from in to out in a clock work fashion to keep the pattern as strong as i could till it's done.Great job on the patterning Quote
Oges Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Yeah I did a Koala pattern a while back and thought the same with it being too difficult, but you just slowly do a bit at a time and before you know it, its finished. amazingkevin 1 Quote
