Hi Marg:
Get well soon, brings a whole new meaning to "one hole at a time"
I know if I were to try this I would have pain in a different area.
Mainly my seating area(if you know what I mean)  P.I.T.A.....NOT THE EATING KIND
BUT: no pun intended here
Once complete, it would almost be worth it
You did one heck of a job on this one  Well done is an understatement
Hang in there they say the Golden Years are not too far away....rrrrrrrrrrrrrr-ight!!!

Excellent cutting especially for thick wood, RJ

I think the fact that it's pine helped.

Great work on a very intricate pattern! I hate spirals too. I know they have their place and I have some but I rarely use one. Most of my patterns have sharp inside corners and those two don't get along well. :) So sorry about your pain. 😞  My wife and I can sympathize.

About that Femoral nerve, I've had issues for years with leg pain and pinch points. One solution, among several, is to use a chair with a "tractor" seat. The seat is shaped for comfort, and if it works for seating on a tractor being bounced up and down for hours it's worth a try. These can be found on Amazon so you may be able to find them locally or have them shipped.

I limit my time in the seat to 1/2hr at a time anyway, then get up and move around for a few minutes, then continue. Chair pads just don't cut it for some reason, but the tractor seat, oh yeah.

I will give it a go.  I will search Amazon.  Thank you for that.  It's feeling a lot better but I still have some discomfort.  I am only working on things that I want to do for myself at the moment so it doesn't matter how long I take.
