  7. Hi, Les, A lot of people have mentioned that skip tooth blades are much better for 1/2" material because it leaves more room to clear the kerf of the sawdust. If you are using a lot of reverse blades, I suggest you just slow down your feed rate into the blade. God Bless! Spirithorse
  8. I just use carpenter's glue and rattle can polyurethane unless it is going to get a lot of exposure to moisture. In that case, I still use the carpenter's glue but, I use Helmsman spar urethane. This urethane, however, will amber over time and change the color of your oak. woodduck had a good idea with screws from the back but, I have never found that necessary. The carpenter's glue will have an extremely strong bond. God Bless! Spirithorse

  17. Hi, hippygirl, My memory or metric sizing is terrible but, could you possibly buy a larger size bolt with the knob and just tap the bolt to the size desired instead of tapping the scroll saw? God Bless! Spirithorse
