  3. Way to go Jim, it look great. You and Don make a great team, you two should collaborate more often. Len
  4. Ralph, it looks amazingly nice, the red backer really sets it off. Seeing as how the cross is made of Oak, you were very lucky to get the two pieces separated without breaking one. Len
  5. Don, I don't think that Russell would have any objections to you cutting out this pattern, that's why he submits them. He hopes that people will like and cut them out, he likes it even more when someone cuts out one of his patterns and post a picture of the subject. Len
  6. Way to go Monti, it's a gorgeous piece. Len
  7. That's a lot of turkeys Dan, they look great. Will you be adding a Eat More Chickens sign to all of them? Len
  8. Another gorgeous piece Theresa, will you be putting this one up for sale? Len
  9. Theresa, if it is of any sentimental value, then leave it on the wall or wherever it is. There is always someone out there, that will not take no for an answer. They are of the opinion that no matter the price, their money will buy it. Make and take only what you are willing to sell, otherwise, you could end up selling that you don't want to. Len
  10. Nathan, it's disappointing I know, but, what's the option? Stay home and not sell anything,or, attend and not sell anything but get your name out there. Unless you missed out on doing something important by attending the sale, then you learned a lot about craft fairs. Len
  11. If it was mine to glue up, I'd use a few 21g pin nails and weld bond. The pin nails have no head, and they usually can't be seen. Len
  12. Don, what do you mean bring them back, they never took them away around here. There's not quite as many as there used to be, but there's still a fair amount of them. Len
  13. Edward, I've never had a problem with that happening to any I cut, but, I know that others have. What they did to solve the problem, was that they used a scrap piece of wood for the bottom. Some use 1/8" plywood, I've even heard of using hard board. Len
  14. Les, it looks like it's a new saw, hopefully, it'll work like a new saw for a long time. Len
  15. Don, I don't own a cell phone either, isn't it funny some of the faces people make when you tell them that. Some of them look at me as if I was growing horns, I even had one person tell me that they never heard of the like. He says he couldn't imagine being without one, I told him he had a very bad imagination and reminded him of landlines, and house phones. Len
  16. Perry, sure you can cut it, but, can you stand the smell of cutting it? I don't know about cutting bone as I've never done it, but, I have cut antler stock before, and it STINKS!! Len
  17. Great find Les, hopefully you'll get lots of enjoyable scrolling out of it. Len
  18. Nope, not me. Len
  19. Dick, this is a perfect example of what you should have on your table at a craft sale. The fact that it is painted different colors, really adds to it's appeal and should make it a good seller. Personally, I think that one with a black backer would look good, but, I don't think it would sell nearly as fast as one with the colored backer would. Len
  20. Nice one Ralph, A red backer should look interesting. Len
  21. Nicely done Rob. Len
  22. Nicely done Rob, that rimu wood looks fantastic. Len
  23. To cool Dan, I think pocket hole joinery was a wise choice for this project. Len
  24. Don, if you do decide to go with the EX16 and if it's a floor model, check to make sure that it still has a full warranty. Most times a floor model loses its warranty, due to people trying it out and picking at everything. Len
  25. lol A bit rough was it? Len
