    Welcome to The Village!
  3. Did someone say WOW! Absolutely amazing. Love the colors.
  4. Haha. Just saw this... Cookies.
  5. If you give him a haircut he'll look more like the Jerry we all know and love.
  6. Nice take on our original superheroes. I never realized Metropolis and Gotham City were joined by the Golden Gate Bridge. LOL
  7. Sounds to me like trying to climb into a cockpit of a fighter jet. I'll stick with my shop stool. I guess it could work for some folks.
  8. Simple and sweet. I love it.
  9. Welcome to The Village Vicki.
  10. Nice pattern and cutting. Teamwork!

    ciao a tutti

    Benvenuto nel villaggio.
  12. Good job. Your puzzle is worth more than the actual car. They got the name right.
  13. Paul, I'll help declutter your shop and store your bandsaw for you. Just trying to be a nice guy.
  14. I don't have the guides but bought the stabilizers a few years ago to do bandsaw boxes. Well, the stabilizers are still in the box. I'll have to get them out and give them a try. I saw a demo once and the stabilizers seem to work well. I guess it's time to give them a try. Sorry not much help.
  15. Nice! Now you need to make another one so the kids can race them. Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazine has a couple of patterns for a hedgehog and armadillo. I plan to cut some for my grandkids next month. I'm glad you posted a finished product in action.
  16. I bought some cedar ply but it had a foam core and only cedar on one side. Easy to cut but I don't care much for it as a ply.
  17. I also bought the 12" Dewalt. Sliding miter, double bevel. I bought the stand for portability and love it.
  18. Welcome to The Village! We have lots of turner, carver, and painters here. Be sure to show some of your work, even if it's 20 years old.
  19. Sweet! Here's one of my signs. I hope Jim chimes in and shows his sign.
  20. Thanks. I bookmarked it. A few years ago I found a site that had free patterns for stained-glass windows. Those looked easy to turn into intarsia but I never tried it. I'll see if I can find it.
  21. I'm not a dance fan but you did an amazing job on the clock! Awesome!
  22. ( had to borrow a third thumb but you work is worth it.)
  23. Where's the pictures??
  24. I suggest solid wood if you plan to paint it. My experience is if any moisture gets into the plies of the plywood it will delaminate. You could use poplar, but cedar or redwood are also great choices. Like you said, a good primer and paint will be sufficient.
