  1. Dog pattern by Judy Gale Roberts and I added the bone.
  2. I have found that it works great for small holes and I also have it close to my saw so when I'm cutting and find a missed spot, I don't have to get up to the drill press.
  3. Along that same idea, I used to do some simple angel cutouts that were about 6" high and then added a closet hook and they became closet angels.
  4. We have definitely lost a great contributor to the scrolling community. I had the opportunity to meet him at a scroll convention and have purchased patterns from their site.

    black lab

Looks about like my neighbors lab when he shows up wanting a biscuit.
  6. Now I really feel bad as haven't finished mine from last year yet.
  7. I like the chimes. Have you thought about doing the inside cuts on the Welcome and then gluing to the backer to cut the outside so it would match?

    tug boat

Beautiful work and the wood grain surely fits.
  9. Nice work. Saw the pattern for the buck and wondered how it would look with antlers instead of hearts on each end.
  10. That image always touches me as a veteran and also had an uncle who was there.

    wagons ho!

    Beautiful work and great result.
  12. When I was in high school back in the middle ages, there was a metal puzzle like that and each piece was on a chain that was worn by couples.
  13. Your level of work is fine. Just remember that a better saw only makes scrolling easier not necessarily better. The operator determines the quality of the work regardless of the machine.

    been busy

You have been a busy boy. The chuckwagon and the mallards are fantastic, not to say the others aren't great but those are my favorites.
  15. Welcome from another resident of the "Show Me" state.
  16. I like mine but think the easy lift is a waste. I purchased one but have never installed it as have never needed anything to hold up the arm. Do intend to get a foot switch as they are pretty cheap at HF and there are always coupons floating around. Not sure how it will work for me as I have to sit and can't leave my feet on the floor.
  17. I don't think there is enough memory here for me to list my projects. Did cut a little bit on a couple of them yesterday that were started several years ago.
  18. Really like this. Is the pattern available? My mother is a 50 year survivor and would love this.
  19. That is one of the nicest anniversary plaques that I have seen. You and Sue did great.
  20. My solution is to give things away, then I don't have to worry about it.
  21. Boy did this bring back memories. I made a similar lamp back in the 60's.
  22. If you are careful, you can do a cutting in the center and leave the outer for a frame on cabinet doors.
  23. I didn't have any luck blowing out the dust but after unplugging all the connections and then plugging them back, the saw has been starting fine.
  24. I purchased one of the lifts but it has never been installed as I still haven't found a need for any lift.
