  1. Welcome to the Village. You have picked some challenging projects to start but did a fine job on them.
  2. Welcome to the village. You have gotten some good advice. The fish tank air pump will work great and some Flying Dutchman blades will make a difference. Drilling holes in the wrong place will sometimes happen to everyone whether they admit it or not.
  3. Very nice work. I did the MOM one last year for my mother. Sprayed it gold then mounted on a pink background and in a gold frame.
  4. Many moons ago when I worked some at HD, we had a special at Christmas where several of us made gifts for all the kids. I did some puzzles by printing coloring pages that the kids could then color.
  5. That's a great rationale that you should never throw anything away.
  6. I have used the nailless sawtooth hangers for years without any problems. On 1/4" wood, I just don't drive them in all the way.
  7. Beautiful work. That is a great Masonic emblem.
  8. Very nicely done. I especially like the Schnauzer.
  9. Just my luck as I was going to place an order today. What I get for procrastinating. I don't think anyone could match Mike for service and promptness in addition to being a really nice guy.
  10. Mine isn't set up in folders but shows 5.18GB in one place and 336MB in another.
  11. Great job. I have the NGA plaque hanging on the wall over the computer.
  12. If you would alternate the pattern up and down and adjust them up and down, you could get more pieces out of a smaller piece of wood.

I also have this pattern but haven't cut it yet. You did a nice job on it. I don't think I will take it to my Legion meeting as would probably have more cutting to do than I want.

A really fantastic job and glad to see that you show that us flatbladers can cut intricate also.
  15. For a simple design that you will be cutting numerous times, it is easier to cut a template from something like 1/8" masonite that you can draw around and then cut.
  16. Well cut and very nicely displayed.
  17. Blue tape on top unless I'm stack cutting the wrap to hold the stack together. If using thicker hard wood will also add clear packing tape on top of the pattern after it is glued to the blue tape. For something I will do a lot of, I make a template and then tack the pieces together.
  18. Beautiful work and a great finish. You prove how much difference the finish makes. Oak leaves in Canada?
  19. Your usual fine work Ron.
  20. Nice job on the sign. Don't take the previous posts to heart as these guys really mean well just sometimes are hard to contain.
  21. Your work is outstanding and extremely challenging. I would be blind if I tried something that intricate.
  22. Great job and boy would I like to be on the other end of that line!
  23. Really like the sign. Hadn't seen that one but may have to get it as think it would make a nice gift to the local rescue groups. I don't dare visit there as couldn't resist. My large adoption takes all my energy and budget. I was asked about doing some fostering for the breed but he said no as there wasn't room in bed for anyone else.
  24. The only problem I can see is that if there is not another pheasant coming, he will miss big time as you really have to lead them to score a hit.
  25. Nicely done. You have reminded me that I am supposed to do some lions for myself as I have a sizeable collection of lions.
