  2. ahha! now i see what the church mouse has been up too. You've been quite for a while and i knew you were up to someting big ,here it is.Teriffic job my man,you are a designer tech now ,fancy workmanship.your web site is going to be teeming with goodies for people to chose from.it may be hard for the customers to find only one needle in the haystack of items offerd on the site .but thats a good thing as they'll fall in love with more than one. A light just went on thinking about your craft sales ,and here is another idea for you.Tell your customers "if you find something you can't live with out, just make me a good deal offer and you could be the proud owner of it.A little humor breaks the ice for sales!

  5. Yeah buddies ,It feels good to be in the saddle Really antisapating the next and the next.guess i need bags and cards.I'd like to give something trivel to everybody that stops at my table just as a thanks for lookin!I'm a giver by nature anyway.I still can't order patterns from anyone as i'm getting deep in the hole.I need to get some kathy wise intarsia patterns bad, about 7 of them.Thank you dwsudekum,Marg,Clayton717,Dan,Oges.now i can get off the porch with the big dogs and run! i needed this kickin the beehind to lift my spirits.when i unloaded the car the mail lady pulled up and bought 7 items! She's been good about getting things for birthdays and holiday's.i stoped at a yard sale just to check and see if there might be a scroll saw i could trade for.The lady asked me if i was kevin, really caught me by surprize. end's up she was the manager at pearls art's and craft and i had made her name with the beach scene on it quit a while back. She bought 15 bucks worth too!It takes time but all the 800 beach scene names i made for free and gave away are now surfaceing in a good way.I find out that 99% of them are on top of their tv's .Makes me fell proud to her that they look at it every day!
  6. thank you Thank you Thank you,I had more fun than a barrel of monkeys talking to the other vendors,to see what they've done ,where they've been how shows have gone ,the prices of other shows etc, shop talk. They were amazed at the quality of my work, just another day for me sawing away. The table was small and 20 bucks, one vendor offerd to let me us a pink cloth to cover the table with but i was set up and the show started.for 4 hours.I did $140,The lady running the show pushed me ahead of everybody as only 10 are to be picked for youth day on the 26 or 21,so buttons are pressed and wheels are turning in my favor right from the start.i really need something to display the portraits ssv does to get on that band wagon for customers.something thats going to be a show piece in homes as free advertizment so to speak.i need the big buck stuff to get out of the hole were all in with this recession balonie. But like a taxi driver it all adds up when finished.thank god for steve good on this craft show sales and ssv's patterns.if i was on my own i would starve more than i am in 4 years.Steve goods keychains and patricks "rapid resizer" put bread with butter on the table many many days when there was no other way of making money.a 21 gun salute to everone for all the encouragement and help these past 4 years !
  7. Ok ,Ok,here's the scoop. out of 10 venders at a county park craft show i was the only one to pull any money out of it.what a good feeling that was.Nobody bought anything till the show was over ,is'nt that strange.this was my first craft show as a vender and i loved it. Most had jewery some tee shirts ,glass vases, wreaths, clothing, brick a brack, cards, candles 2 venders had, and me with scroll work, lot's of steve good puzzles and dog stuff and key changes, one lady bought $90 worth of keychains all custom order, lots of religous stuff, names, recession fund steve good stuff, mostly free steve good stuff maybe you can see from the pictures what i had.thanks everybody for the help with scrolling know how that i learned from ssv,it all helped.I helped one vender with the blues and let her put together all the dog puzzles i had .she really appreciated it. gave each vender something i had that was fitting for them. nice gesture to liven their spirits. The table was small 3" x 6" for $20.00 that a vender at a craft show across the street from me that i visited gave me to get in this one as he seen my work and knows i have no money. he did'nt even want the money back,

  21. On the spirals i slide it through my finger tips to find out which way has the most pull and put that side down.My eye's are bad and that works for me!
  22. The spirals i've used are flat ends #3 ,48t.p.i. -same but #5 36, t.p.i. -new spirals FD-NS #3, 27 t.p.i. -spiral reverse FD-SP-REV,#5 34teeth,t.p.i.-12 rev-, FD-SP, rev,#3,40tpi.12 rev and some delta ones that came in a variety pack from the big box store 4 years ago and never used them till now.
  23. Luckyduck! what a neet project to work on.Keep us posted i've never seen a clock in works in progress ! very interesting
  24. I have a possum grin and am rubbing my hands as if cold antisapating arrival of the gold your offering.I'm going to rip tear and cross cut all the wood i can to put them to the wood butcher test by me.I can destroy a scroll saw in record time and i'd like to meet my match with these baracuda blades you found. These poor blades will get a through work out believe you me.I have stacks of pattern ready to rip into i just need blades and spirals fit the picture.Mule train, snail mail, pack horse it don't matter .You can't kick a gift horse in the kazoo!I am ichin to tighten these baby's up and make some saw dust.Whoa, i teeming with excitement at all the fun i'm going to have working these blades for all they got.I'll push them to the limits ,no backin down.GOT WOOD no blades .there's ash ,walnut, oak, hickory just waiting .i like to see smoke when i'm scrolling.Bring it on.If these are from mikes i'm in trouble .In 4 years of scrollin i've had zero complaints.Well maybe two,They are too sharp and don't break !
  25. Great scott Art , You've an managery of skilled talents i say,Scroll saw repairman, wood burner, and now gosh darn handsome snowmen ornament maker. You must be building up for some pudding pie this year from the miss's.This 'll get you on her good side.Nice touch of class for wood oranaments. While your at it make more for your next years craft show sell out. They'll be back for more of your good stuff.I see nothing goes to waste at your house. If you could only save all you ever bought you'd have everything you need when you need it. problem is you'd need a fork lift and a condo to store it all .Miss kitty should be about ready for her box car ride down here for the winter.Instead of loungeing by the fire place she can curl up next to the airconditioner this winter.I have tender vittles and cat nip a plenty.Clayton sent down plenty of mouse cheeze so she'l be right at home.
