    Kevin, the spring in your illustration, which is drawn over my photo, needs to be there. I believe there is supposed to be s spring that goes over the Rod, but when I pulled the pin out of the tension lever, I did not see a spring fly out. I ordered the parts from Denny, and he is sending me a schematic drawing of the chuck head, so I can see the break down. Thanks again for all your help, I'll let all you guys know how the fix works, when i get back on the air. Rick

    THANK YOU ALL . Once again this group MAY HAVE solved the problem. I say MAY HAVE, because I don't recall a spring being under the white tension lever, but as we all know S#&@ happens. My guess is that the spring is in NEVER NEVER LAND, hiding in a dust pile and soon to be spinning around in my cyclone dust collector.

    @kmmcrafts Thanks for your reply Kevin. I know now that I should have asked how to remove the podt so I could insert the new spring. When I tried to remove the post, there was a good amount of resistance, and I'm not sure if it is a press fit or are ther threads on the rod? @OCtoolguyThank you.     Can someone please help me with my Pegas Blade holder problem ? I just ordered the replacement spring for the tension lever from Denny, and I have removed the lever, but I am not sure if the post that is under the lever should also be removed. As you can see from the picture, the spring is below the post, I don’t think that tension would be applied to the lever in that configuration. Thanks in advance for any help.

    @Wichman Thank you again, I will try that tomorrow. I'm going to pop open a cold Sammy Adams "Octoberfest" and watch my N.Y. YANKEES. They're back home at the STADIUM, so I hope they will go 2 up tonight. Rick

    @Wichman Thank you Wichman. I actually did try to save it as "inkscape SVG (*.svg) ". When I hit save, inkscape comes back and says there already is a file that exists under that name, then asks if I would like to over ride it, when I say yes, it appears to be saved, but I can't find the file anywhere. This didn't happen until the WMF box appeared some time ago, that makes me think that somewhere along the line, these chubby little fingers of mine hit a wrong key. Thank you for trying to clear me up.

    Once again, I am asking my INKSCAPE firends for help. The box below started to appear on my screen recently. It pops up when I try to save something that I am working on, in this case, it was a picture of entwined wedding rings that I am trying to change the photo to a red line drawing. I don't even know if that is possible, I am pretty much computer illiterate, I guess I was born 78 years too soon. I thank you in advance for any assistance. The title of the box is WMF Output. Rick

    @Charlie EMy sincerest sympathies to you and your family. My brother passd about 10 months ago after a very hard fought battle with alzhimers, I miss him very much. Like your sister, we have no grandchildren, but are so very luckey to be close to my nieces and their children, in fact, they were with us last week at the JERSY SHORE. As we all know, TIME HEALS MOST WOUNDS, AND WE ARE DETERMINED TO REBOUND FROM THIS. We all made sure the little ones had a fun time at the beach. RICK

    @rafairchild2Good morning Richard. I just watched one of your What's On The Bench videos, it was very well done. The video I watched was about Christmas pieces that you were cutting, and the piece at 4:11 minutes really caught my I,could you please share where you purchased the pattern from. The Nativity Cross that is featured later on in the video apears to be like one I purchased from Sue Mey, but I couldn't locate the other pieces. Thank you in advance.     I cut the "IRON HORSE & THE BABE", using the pattern by Kris, that he so graciously shared with me. I took the liberty to add the famous ediface that surrounded THEIR Yankee Stadium and then framed the piece. It was a gift for our Pastor, who would greet everyone after mass on Sunday and ask me to wait because he wanted to speak with me. He needed to speak with me about his Yankees,when I prsented him with this gift,he couldn't belive it and it stillhangs in his office to this day. Thank you again, Kris, for your generousity. Rick

    @OCtoolguyHi Ray, thanks for all the suggestions. I had tried most of them prior to posting here, to no avail. I'm going to rtemove inkscape from my computer and then reinstall it again. Don't know if that will help or not...here's hoping it works.

    Hi everyone, before I start banging my head angainst a wall, can anyone tell what is happening when I try the following. I imported an image into inkscape and successfully performed a black line to red line change and when I tried to save it, a box came up on the upper left of my screen that was titled WMF Output. There were a bunch of options in the box, but noneof them were highlighted, so I just hit okay, and the image I was working on went off to NEVER-NEVER Land. Then inkscape shut down and the image is nowhere to be found. I don't recall ever seeing that box before, so good ole MAGIC FINGERS must have hit the wrong keystroke somewhere. Thank you in advance for any help. By the way, NO WALLS WERE DAMAGED IN ANY WAY. Rick
