  1. Marie, your project only neds one word, OUTSTANDING Your daughter will treasure that forever. Rick
  2. @ChelCass, @OCtoolguy That's the cross I'm talking about, THANKS for posting it. We did get in touch with Donny, he graciously doesn't ask for a payment for his patterns, I think on his facebook page(???), he tells of a charity that he supports. Ann Marie and I are going to track down the charity and offer a donation in his name. The people we meet in this hobby are the best. So is this site!!! Rick
  3. @OCtoolguyI did find the pattern. The designer is Donny Hollingsworth, Foot of The Cross Scroll Saw Art. Ray, if anyone out there thinks they can explain how to show a picture of the cross to a doorstop (ME), I would be glad to show it. When Ann Marie comes home from shopping, I'll ask her to post the picture...she's a software personans knows her way around a keyboard pretty well.
  4. @ScrappileThank you, I'll give it a shot.
  5. Hi everyone, I'm seven weeks out of my back surgery and I will see the doctor on Tuesday, I'm going to try to get him to say it's okay to go down stairs to my shop. With that in mind, one of my good customers recently had a death in the family and she saw a picture of a cross with a heart and a rose on it, the deceased woman's name was Rose. The picture was on PINTREST and she said the designers name is Bobby Riggs. I know my computer is a lot smarter than I am, but I can't seem to find any way to get some information about a pattern. I am chomping at the bit to get back to cutting, and I would like very much ti help my customer. Thank you all for any help. Rick
  6. Great job, Charlie. The best of the "OUTLAWS", I have many of his albums on vinly, tape, CD and now on our computer. Thanks for sharing. Rick
  7. Hi everyone, I'm having an operation next week to try to fix this old mans back, Doc says about 4 to 5 weeks before I can go up and down the stairs to my shop. My CEO, COO and everything else in the house reminded me of some gifts I had to complete before my down time, I just wanted to show them to you guys & gals. I won't be able to work, but I will be able to sign on the internet and see what all my friends are working on. I posted this on the other 2 scrolling sites, sorry for the double post. Thanks for looking. Rick

  18. Hey Ray, that is one great looking bowl, anyone would be happy to have it. I also had a problem with paduak when I made my guitar stand, I recut the stand and use sapele which is not the same color, but it work good for me. Thanks for sharing your bowl cutting. Rick
  19. This is my version of a Steve good pattern for Valentines Day, I changed it up a little bit. First I spray painted the back piece White and after it dried, I sprayed that with some Gold Glitter. I then painted the the wording a gloss red and mounted it to the back using some quater inch spacers. Once that was done, I thought I should add some romance to the piece with red LED lights. Finally, I decided to dedicate this piece to some very familiar lovers from the past, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Fred and Ethel. I'm willing to bet that most of the folks on the scroll saw forums are old enough to remember who they are. If not, maybe the words" HEY LUCY" will sound familiar. Thank you Steve for the pattern and thank you all for looking at my post.
  20. @heppnerguy Hi Dick, you did a great job on cutting that beautiful pattern and the gown is outstanding. Are you sure that was your first attempt at an oval frame , because it looks to me like you can stop practicing. If I can find the pattern, I know I will use it for some baptism presents coming up. Thanks for sharing. Rick
