    Hey Ray, that is one great looking bowl, anyone would be happy to have it. I also had a problem with paduak when I made my guitar stand, I recut the stand and use sapele which is not the same color, but it work good for me. Thanks for sharing your bowl cutting. Rick

    This is my version of a Steve good pattern for Valentines Day, I changed it up a little bit. First I spray painted the back piece White and after it dried, I sprayed that with some Gold Glitter. I then painted the the wording a gloss red and mounted it to the back using some quater inch spacers. Once that was done, I thought I should add some romance to the piece with red LED lights. Finally, I decided to dedicate this piece to some very familiar lovers from the past, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Fred and Ethel. I'm willing to bet that most of the folks on the scroll saw forums are old enough to remember who they are. If not, maybe the words" HEY LUCY" will sound familiar. Thank you Steve for the pattern and thank you all for looking at my post.

    @heppnerguy Hi Dick, you did a great job on cutting that beautiful pattern and the gown is outstanding. Are you sure that was your first attempt at an oval frame , because it looks to me like you can stop practicing. If I can find the pattern, I know I will use it for some baptism presents coming up. I chose this font because I wanted something informal and fun when I see it posted, it appears that I didn't do a good job on the cutting. Rick

    Hi everyone, I made this plaque for a very close friend who was celebrating his 60th birthday. Marc has this unbeliveable Black Lab who doesn't know he's a dog, EVERYBODY loves COAL. When I came up with this layout, I chose a nice piece of Cherry to mount the lettering on and I didn't have real dark wood, so I had to apply several light coats of rattle can Black on the dog pattern. I read somewhere on the internet that if you bake poplar wood slowly in the oven, that it would turn very dark, so I told Ann Marie I was going to try that...NOT IN HER OVEN. The person who wrote the article must have been a bachelor. This is my version of a 1983 song by "THE POLICE" Thanks for looking. I have posted this on 2 other scroll saw forums, I'm sorry if this is your second view. Rick
