  1. That would work GREAT to finish small projects in also!!!! Complete control of the fumes. Great Idea I hope you don't mind if I use it. My next shop is going to be in a finished basement till I can build a garage.
  2. I love it!!! Do you have a pocket in the back to hold the pins and a deck of cards? I really like all the diferent cribbage boards. Makes me wish I had a little more spare time to work on some myself.
  3. Cheryl did you get your saw running? To test if it is the switch you could use a jumper wire with alligator clips on each end. Let us know what was wrong when you get it up and going.
  4. I like them both but the one with the wagon wheel behind the pumpkins is by far my favorite! If my Lady sees that I will have to cut one so I have to exit before she peeks over my shoulder.
  5. You are going to love the Ridgid spindle/belt sander. Let us all know how the saw works. I hope to add one to my shop when I get a shop to put it in again.
  6. That is Great!!! I would have a place to put my hearing aid when someone starts rambling on.
  7. Another beautiful cribbage board! Congratulations on selling one and I hope you sell many more. As for the holes that is what a CNC is good for. Then the scroll saw for the art work.
  8. Great work! However I am with DW on the thoughts of the team. You do amazing work. Keep it up.
  9. I purchased a 10" Grizzly table saw many years ago and have been very pleased with it. I have looked at the bandsaws many times but still haven't talked myself into making the leap.
  10. Doug, Take a good look at the Rigid sander at Home depot. I got one about 4 months ago and have LOVED IT. It has all the round drums PLUS the belt sander. That is a HUGE BONUS in my book. I use the belt attachment way more than any of the drums. http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/8283-new-sander/?hl=%2Boscillating+%2Bsander
  11. I believe he was referring to his dog named Big Red. I don’t know how many Husker fans there are in New York State. Lol
  12. I would say you better give your mom a BIG HUG and a PECK on the cheek. Congratulations on the new equipment. I hope you and your son enjoy it for a long time to come. Oh and by the way if your mom is looking to adopt I am available.
  13. #1 Thank You for your service. #2 I would just keep them both. Everyone needs a backup saw anyway. Believe me your wife is going to love what you create with them. Take a good look around the village and see what all these talented people have built. The ideas are endless. #3 Post pictures of your machines and the work that comes off of them. We love to see the projects and the progress you make as you get better and better with your saws. And #4 Thank You for your service.
  14. Now that is a SCORE!!!!!!! :D
  15. They are worth what ever the market will bear. Some markets will sell high and some you almost have to give them away. It all depends on the area your selling them in.
  16. I Love It!!!! I need to make about 5 boards when I get done with all these weddings and get closed on the house and moved. I should get started on them about the end of July. Great work Larry!!! Keep it up, I love seeing these works of art.
  17. You would be the little guy around my house and get sent into all the tight areas. I am 6'6" and 285 Lbs. My two sons are 6'5" and 6'7" but they are string beans at about 240. That is my type of wood! I love to work with walnut and oak is always nice to play with. Have fun and show us some pictures as you work on the projects.
  18. I do the same thing and then make a copy of the pattern so the white out doesn't chip off as I cut it.
  19. Well Done!!!!
  20. And the cars keep rolling off the lot!!!!! It looks GREAT Kevin. That guy doesn’t deserve the car let alone your cutting.
  21. Take a look at this one and see if you see any problems. I think it is ready to scale and use. If this one is correct maybe some of our wonderful pattern makers can fill the center with different options of boards to cut.
  22. Your right I missed that one. I will fix it and repost the pattern
  23. Try scaling this to the proper size and see if it works better for you. I left a double space after each 8 groups of 5 for the skunk and double skunk markings. I removed pattern to save people from using a bad pattern
  24. I love that project and will have to make some of these for myself and my family. I have to admit thou I plan on cheating on the hole pattern. I am going to lay it out in my Cad/cam software and drill the holes with a CNC mill. At the very least I will make a template with the mill. I have one question. Do you have spaces to mark the skunk and double skunk areas? I don’t remember where they are supposed to be. I may have to find a board and count out the number of holes in each area.
  25. Give it a try Marge. It isn't as complicated as it seems. Just take your time and get your angle correct for the thickness of wood you choose and the width of the blade and you will whip right thru it and I promise you will enjoy it.
