  1. I don't know if I like that bowl sitting in your house or not. I think it would look much better sitting in my house. Amazing job on this bowl!!!! I really need to start playing with my lathe and learn to make something like this.
  2. Looks great! I didn't know you had any walnut in your shop. Must have had to run out and buy some for this project. Really looks great, the design and the cut. Good job as usual.
  3. I concur; I like the picture frame the best also. But both pieces are top of the line work.
  4. I brush off plastic chips with an air gun. If you have and air compressor try blowing off your pants and shirt. Yes I said pants not shorts, I wouldn't work with that stuff wearing shorts. It would get in places I wouldn't want it.
  5. I think this is what you are talking about Ike. I keep a pair in my tool box at work all the time. It is a lot easier than snapping them together by hand. http://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/09777020 Here is a link for loc line if anyone needs it but you can probably find them cheaper on eBay. http://www.mscdirect.com/browse/Coolant-System-Hose-Nozzles-Accessories?navid=4294719525+12107422&searchterm=Loc-Line
  6. Very nice work!!! I know my wife would love them.
  7. I love to catch them and I love to eat them! I also love the sign, Great job on this one Gator.
  8. Holly cow, you kicked that out in one evening? It looks to be as big as your fridge. A beautiful piece of work done with a gorgeous piece of wood. It would have taken me 2 weeks of evenings to do the cutting on that one and I don't think it would look this good. Great work Dick!!
  9. Dang that first picture looks like the real thing. as far as the second picture goes I will bet you don't do that again. Great job on them thou. I agree with Larry, I thought they would crawl off if you didn't nail them down.
  10. Oh the times I have been called an American A ho, I mean Uranus. But that was a compliment compared to what my grandmother use to call me. She used to tell me I had a little Scotchman in me.
  11. I just hope it isn’t Uranus. Now who the heck would name a planet that?
  12. Are you sure you two aren’t brothers from another mother? I have been told the very same thing since I was a wee little lad.
  13. Great job on the tractor there OLD chap. Your friends nephew will play with that till he runs the wheels off it. Now I always drink rum and coke so if you are going to have one for me do it right.
  14. That is a nice clean brand it looks fairly deep too. It looks very good and should keep you in the minds of the people that see your work.
  15. Great job on the name plates!!! I will look forward to seeing the final product.
  16. Great work on this one. I love the pattern and the choice of woods is top notch.
  17. I figured you hauled it home like this
  18. You better fasten that down in the boat or your phone and the stand might end up being an anchor. I could just picture hooking into a big fish and knocking it right into the lake.
  19. I realize trees grow like weeds in that part of the nation but if you keep going there won’t be any oak left. Great Job on these cuts as we have come to expect from you Dan.
  20. And I hear tell they are delicious! Great pattern and cutting gator, top notch job. I would love to get the chance to hook into one of those and give it a good run for its money.
  21. This is what I made my grandson when he received his green belt. I never thought about building in a rack to hang the belts from. I guess I just figured they only had one belt at a time and turned the old one in. Any way if you can get a picture of the dojo emblem and make a pattern out of it I know it is pretty special.
  22. I don’t know how I missed this thread but BRAVO to both Doug and Roly for this act of kindness. I know that I get the most enjoyment out of the pieces I give away and I love seeing the giving nature of this whole group of people on this forum. We all pick on each other in good fun as good friends do but when it comes right down to it you people are the best and I am proud to call you my friends even thou I have never and will probably never meet you face to face.
  23. I would defiantly try Mikes puzzle blades.
  24. Is it posible to go to Omaha and not spend a couple hours in Midwest Woodworkers?????? I think NOT!!
