  1. do as ron says but when drilling hard wood peck drill it drill so deep and retract the drill tap the drill with a dial Rod or something simular to knock off the wood chips, it there is any. I do this on any thick wood .

  5. When I use FD blades I have to cleanthe blades real well and use sandpaper on them to keep them from slipping, no problems with Olson's. I also have a DW 788.

  13. When I drill the hole 3/8 deep i also drill thru with a 3/8 drill and this allows me to use the eraser end of a pencil to push out the clock insert
  14. That is why i am reluctant in taking special orders. some people you just can't please My last one what she wanted dwas fairly simple so i took it and then after I got started she changed her design on her 3rd change I told her I wouldn't make it.

  18. Ok that's a;; good answers to your question.I can sum it up in a few works. I always use olson's blades. have tried FW 's but olsons blades last longer and in my opinion they are the best. just my opinion I very seldom run over 1/2 speed. Don't feed too fast. I use #3,#5,#7, and for thick wood ( 1 1/2) for fretwork it's a #3 & #5 blade IKE

    my latest new project. This lamp clock has a night light. fairly easy project but a little time consuming of parts.

When I buy glue I transferred it to a catsup/ mustard squeeze bottle and when I apply it i have very little squeezing out .and when I do a large project I just use a brush. and when the bottle gets a little low and is hard to squeeze it out i make sure the pcap is on and turn it upside down I have a v block to lean it against,,
