  9. I have been running mine for 1 1/5 years and never had any problem with the blade out of square. That was the first thing I checked due to my problem with other saws i have owned,
  10. One thing about varnish and suck you apply it with a brush let it dry then take 400 / 6000 grit emery and ssand it before the 2 coat let it dry and use 600 oly grit to finish it . one other t=hing about varnish which is all i use yo thin it down by 10% this allows the varnish to flow togather and leaves no brush marks , just don't put it on too heavy light coats does the job.
  11. Kevin these alr all scrap from the Mill it's the end pieces that are under 6 ' in length any long pieces are less than 1 in thick there not many pieces like that. but a 4 ' is ni;ce for me because they are easy to store. and they are FREE
  12. When you have tried all the suggestions take it to a De Walt repair shop in your area-if it is on warranty if not it could cost you $$$ here in the Cincinnati area the cast runs $35 to $250. It will only get worse,
  13. I just got back from the local Saw Mill with a pretty good load in my Truck by the time I got rid of the trash I ended up with about 100 ft of Maple. the thickness was between 3/4 and 1 1/4 This is green so It will have to be dried out . It probably won't be ready till next spring. I also got 16 ft. of Walnut 5/8 thick X 8 in. this is ready to be planed. I have some walnut and cherry that is left from what I got last year It. s ready to plain, With Saw Mill lumber yu need to get it one year in advance

  18. Did the blade come loose or did it slip in the holder.. if either of these happened get some lock seize from a hardware store and put some on the holding screws . A tube cost about $4 and will be enough to last a life time. It worked for me. IKE

  20. I agree with Larry I had a problem with ti;gating the blade until I used anti seize. I got a tube at the hardware stor for about $4 and it is enough to last a lifetime I don't see the nobs coursing any problems, I have a DW 788 and after about 700 hours it developed a problem I took it into the DeWalt repair shop and thy fixed it at no cost because it was still guarantee. IKE
