THey are a PITA and I dumped mine a long time ago, its a matter of fact its still brand new but you know if they don't put all the safety items on a product then they could be held responsible if someone really hurt them self. . -

Well now you done it, you've turned something that is so precious to all of us into a thing called work. All the fun has come out of it and you feel the need to turn a dollar. There is only one cure that comes to mind and that would be try and make something for yourself, something you would enjoy. Get out of your shop for a day if you can cause the feeling will get worse. I've gone through that feeling you describe and I know its not fun but you should really take a break. If you don't the fun of scrolling will disappear and your quality will go downhill. Well I'm sure you can figure out what happens when the quality goes down the customers go with it. Hope you get over this slump fast but I don't think there is a quick fix.

Absolutely beautiful piece Marg your so lucky to have nice wood available I can't get any here only pine or plywood.

I think an eye test at this point would be a waste of time as I think I proved that my eyes are perfect.

I use a DeWalt 788 and I have a very sore thumb from changing blade from hole to hole I haven't sold any of my pieces just give them away or keep them I think this one is a keeper.

There is 45 holes in each little wing which is only 2" long

As funny as that may sound I did use the pattern of a doily one time to make doors on a Microwave stand I scrolled it and then mounted it behind glass, it came out ok.

Great stuff get them involved they are way more artistic then adults and it will keep him off the street later I love it by the way I started at age 8 still doing it. .../Hans
