For me, It depends on the project ,frames really help or take away from a project .Actually it can become an important part of the project ,set's the mood ! Needs to be compatable with the scene or picture .IMO

Nice display ,a lot of time and prep before and after a show required ,Well Done!! If it is not a secret which 2 item's did he fore see ? In my expierence my instinct's are often controled by my mood at the time and situation . Some Good some Bad ,thought provokeing ,to say the least,may be that was, the message ,That's just my instinct's talking out load .Change you mood ,and you change your instinct's !!

Your right ,I made the mistake of telling him his picture was going on the internet ,and he took bath and used conditioner ,before I knew it ! I got to say he smelled better afterwards ,Realism is hard for me to master ,but I'm working on it ,then I can forget these canned excuses .They are fun to do and see what results you can achieve .Picking my next victim now ! I appreciate the honest critique,and it was fair .Thanks Carl

Six step relief ,alternating & reversing steps , this was a fun experiment ,nice change of pace 8 1/2" x10 1/2 " recycled mahogany .What do you think !!

Call ,Mike he will shoot you straight ,tell him what your working on he will fix you up correctly and treat you fairly .That's all I use now! He ships same day . No ! I don't get a commision ,just good blades and excellent service! If you want spiral blade info ,there are several posts on the subject ,good detail .Two words steady and slow!

I love the burn accent ,really puls the grain out especially pine , Years a go ,I made a trunion coffee table out of 2x6's and 2x4's 5' long doweled the planks ,I left everything real rough but sq.Then took the brush burner to it ,very agressively ,out side up wind and power wire brushed ,blew off and sanded turned out to be a beautiful rustic piece ,been passed a round the family for years as decor's have changed ,The thing is bullet proff ,thirteen grand kids ,still looks really good ,Grand daughter ,trying to talk her mother out of it right now ! so If your looking for a change of pace there you go !!

Big Mac ! My golfing buddy ,and neighbor is also Big Mac ,IT's just like painting your toys ,prep ,prep and more prep,No force, the blade (any blade )is the boss ,you are just steering the wood to the blade only as fast as it can cut clean ,slow and easy no side force ,sharp blade good tight tention ,lead the blade 1/16" ,piece of cake ,Welcome ,cut hand drawn letters ,will get you aquainted with turns ,and corners ,like wet sanding your car ,you can't hurry it and get the results you want .Jump in the saw dust is real fine .

Dam, Son ,you starting a route ,I like the hillbilly opener ,I must buy the cheap stuff w/ screw of caps ,Looking Good ,burns a nice touch ,I still have on my porch a Galvanized insulated milk box the dairy left when they delivered door to door ,wife got artificial flowers in it! -
Kevin ,This is fun ,working on one ,I think you will really like ,alot more details throughout ,I was getting tired of cutting out holes ,without separation of demention ,some thing to keep the eye 's busy ,Thanks everybody for the incouragement ,might turn in to something to peek your interest! I hope so, getting excited at the posibilities .We will have to wait and see !!

Larry,I used to fly into Binghamton to goe to Bendix ,in the winter that is a TRIP ,they close that thing in a flash and you never know where you will eventually land ,any where from Rochester to Toledo .I don't envy any of you ,moved from east of cleveland in 72 ,I had enough!

When this happens ,the fuzzies will be appearant on the top of the cut ,you may not actually see the fuzzies ,but you will see a difference as the saw dust will start to clink at the cut edge ,and not have the sharp contrast and clean cut ,showing ! I have cut this way when down to my last blades of that size to be able to finish a project (getting double life out of a blade ,)it works OK and works in a jam ,but I would not reccomend it ! Extra work not much cost savings ,when you by your blades in bulk .

Jump in skip .saw dust is fine ,if your going to try everything here,you won't be getting much sleep !Share some pix and some answers as there are always many of those Welcome!

You might ,try putting on a leather shoe lace and selliing as a necklace ,might have to make smaller ,just a thought !

Hi Ken ,Go with the blade ,any blade will only cut so fast ,let it do it"s work ,go slow , steady,& easy ,every blade is the boss! follow that and you will be amazed at what you can do ! You are just the Blade guider ,all forcing of any kind is your worst enemy .Control ,control ,control ,thats all there is to it anything else is just politically correct B.S. ! welcome ,Best advice I can give to a newbee ,lecture over ,Welcome !! As the little fellow said (It ain't what you got It's how you can use it !)

Over the years I have changed so many things ,modifying as my needs and experience changed ,two of my oldest reciprocatings friends are Trial & Error ,keep me going as my needs and wants changed ,finding what works best for me at the time ,I am sure that applies to most ,about a lot of things ,situations change location and use dictate what works today ,may not be the same (monyona) . The K.I.S.S. principal seems to work best ,till your sure of exactly what you really need !
