  1. I like your puzzle, as I have had a good success selling them. The one thing I would add to this one, if you are using the outside portion as part of your puzzle is, I would add a backer board so that when you finshed building the puzzle you could store it as one piece instead of separite (sp) items. Just a suggestion, Nothing to take away from the nice job, you did in both design and exicution of your cutting Dick heppnerguy
  2. i like your originality and sense of humor. You did a great job taking it from a drawing to a wood display plaque Dick heppnerguy
  3. Keith, That is a beautiful piece indeed. You always manage to do whatever you take on, with perfection.. Love it. Dick heppnerguy
  4. Ralph, you put that together with perfection. a fun creation and I love the cost to make it too. Dick heppnerguy

  6. Excellent, original and interesting. a fine job from you, once again Dick heppnerguy
  7. Everyone has repeatedly said that which can only be said, so I am going to phrase it just a little differntly..borrowing from all above, I say DITTO Dick heppnerguy

  11. Marg....there you go hitting below the belt again.. my biggest problem is me...I make a great storage item like this one and then it is the last place I go to look for the leash, in this situation, because I never seem to take a moment to replace it properly. Fay...a really cute item. nice job Dick heppnerguy
  12. i sometimes use underlayment too, mainly for backer board but sometimes if i am doing a large piece and want something with a darker color I go for it. Wood can be a really big expense so some of us with a limited income have to make due with what we can find. your duck came out really nice, Stephen. Keep up the great work Dick heppnerguy

  17. I tried cutting some plexiglass and that was when I too became a welder instead. I should borrow someones welder and try welding two pieces of plexiglass together with it and maybe I will find that I can cut the plexiglass that way.. just kidding, I have some plexiglass hanging around, only because i remember making little hearts in woodshop in grade school, out of them but do not remember how we cut them. so I am interested in seeing the outcome here Dick heppnerguy
  18. Just when you were wondering where your husband put them, and even after he said, "I never saw them".. yeh yeh nice find Dick heppnerguy
  19. Darcy, So happy for you. I knew that you would be making that baby humm as soon as you got it. who, in their right mind could let something that beautiful, sit in a box and wait for warmer weather ? I would set it up in the bathtub if I had to, in order to get it into the house and stay warm. Dick heppnerguy
  20. I sw that one too. Steve used one of those throw away electric toothbrushes and was quite successful with converting it. I have thought about doing it but I have procrastinated until now and probably will continue to procrastinate for awhile, but right now I am taking a break and resting before I start again Dick heppnerguy
  21. Lucky you. You will be so glad your old saw died. I remember how excited I was to get my new saw and how much easier it was to operate. I have the DeWalt and the more I use it, the more I love it. You are one lucky guy. I understand what youare saying about spending that much money on something just for yourself, but before long, that part will be behind you and all that will be left to think about is the pleasure that saw will be giving you for years to come Dick heppnerguy
  22. Isn't she amazing with her saw? She leaves me breathless every time I see her work Dick heppenrguy

Welcome Barbara, Marg is correct and if my memory serves me correctly, ( and often it does not ) I think that Sue Mey's web sight is www.scrollsawartist.com she has many very beautiful pattern that she sells as well as a few nice free ones too. But if you are interested in obtaining some free patterns to have ago at, this is where you will mind a huge amount available and awaiting you. You have just stumbled into a vast amount of talented and not so talented people that make up our family. Here you will find some with many ,many years of experience in scrolling to some , like you who are new to it. There are many great pattern makers and some, like myself that try to make one every once in awhile. Tell us about your experience and your saw and post any photos you may have of anythng you may have made. We love them all. compicated to very simple. We have all been where you are and understand problems of almost any kind because we have personally had our share of them.
