    Spray shellac would work also. Very light coats. I use spray shellac in my basement shop and does not waft through the house like lacquer. The cross is beautiful by the way, nice work!

    I just installed my Pegas Chucks on my EX-21. Does anyone use white grease on their tension lever? I used it all the time on my original lever, so just wondering. By the way, a shout out to Denny for the awesome customer service.

    I bought a new Fein about 3 years ago. It's very quiet. It sits about six feet behind me. I use it mainly on my scroll saw, bandsaw, and drill press. Spendy? Yes! But one of the best wood working purchases I've made. I use a remote like Steve Goode has to turn the vac on and off.

    My DD collects all the fines, and the big pieces go in the shop vac. If the fines went in the shop vac the filter would plug up right away.

    I have the above mentioned tools. I do t think I could make a box anywhere near yours Jim. And I just noticed the different woods for your Grinch box. That is so cool! Your work amazes me

    I have the Fein and highly recommend it. I use it on my scroll saw, band saw, and drill press. I do not have a cyclone hooked up to it. (Although I do have one, but I never use it,) I go through maybe 2 or 3 bags vacuum bags a year. The air filtration systems that hang from the air do pique my curiousity.

    I will agree with the others. I use 1/4" maple with 1/4" walnut quite a bit. No problems at all. Which is really cool, because we all know how beautiful of a contrast they are when used together.
