  1. Very impressive. Yes, simple, but beautiful.
  2. Says they will ship to your local store or home free...
  3. Very well done, Mark. He should really love that.
  4. Dave that is certainly a superior job all the way around. Congratulations!
  5. Actually, now that you mention it, I have heard of it. Just can't remember what, when or where I heard..... This getting old is not for wimps!!
  6. This will give you some indication with Baltic Birch. The one on the bottom is finished by dipping is a mixture of 50/50 BLO and Mineral Spirits. Let it dry for several days than sprayed with "Deft Clear Wood Finish" which is a lacquer. The one on top has no finish because he went blind in the left eye before I finished it. But you really have to experiment. There are different mixes with BLO, like, BLO/MS/Poly. Different sprays to put over it also, of coarse.
  7. You really nailed that one.
  8. You did a real nice job with that.
  9. Very nice scrolling.
  10. Just getting in tough with your feminine side?? Well you did a great job.
  11. Okay, I want a hand saw.... Great job on those and I'm not about to cut your patterns and have everyone telling me you do better by hand than I can do with a scroll saw!! Really some very nice work you have done.
  12. Looks great. Thank him for his service.
  13. Well done! Haven't played Cribbage in over 40 years. It is a great game as I remember.
  14. You did a great job on those owls.
  15. Nicely done!
  16. Turned out mighty fine!
  17. So glad you signed up. Welcome. Nice cutting you have there. I've just started doing bark edged wood, basswood, and I'm really enjoying it. So much so I just today added a riser block to my band saw so I can start resawing some thicker wood down to the thickness I like.
  18. Great cutting. Beautiful dog.
  19. Very nice. I really like the way you added the coloring. My son flew that type of flight often at air shows when he was a Navy Pilot. I think they called it "Legacy Flight".
  20. Hey, I get a Semper Fi also. Active Marine. 1963 -1966. Still an old goat Marine.
  21. One of the prettiest I have seem. When I get my bandsaw back up and running, I have got to try one. What thickness of BB do you use.
  22. Great sign and a combination of talents that really go nicely together.
  23. Very nice. As I understand it the black inside the leaf is carved with your Dremel and the scrolling is the outside shape of the leaf, correct? I really like the look of it. I've done some of similar carving and really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  24. I like it. I love to scroll western scenes. This would fit right in.
  25. Nice looking cuttings.
