  1. I just did a search and got nothing about their scroll saw blades. They have jig saw, band saw blades so maybe they started scroll saw blades also. I'm anxious to read about them. I like their products although they are expensive.
  2. That is some very nice work!
  3. Awesome! Job well done..... if you know what I mean.
  4. Yep, MrsN beat me to it. I built these for my Grandson, when he was three. The stake truck is a Wood Magazine plan and the little pickup I just did free hand.
  5. I agree with Bandaideman. I like your idea and of the two tie racks I like Dad one the best, but the other is good because not everyone who wears a tie is a Dad. The baby one I think will do well. My only thoughts would be refine it a little. I'd do it in 1/2" wood, like Maple or Cherry (that is what I am into right now, I guess). Cut down on the the size of Mama a little so it does not over power the picture. Not sure how to do that, but you have some great ideas here and worth developing in my opinion.
  6. Great stuff. I have never seen that bowling pattern before. Nice carving and scrolling and I love the Christmas ornaments.
  7. FD-TC I use them often
  8. It is very hard to tell a person what blades to buy because a lot of it is personal preference. I started with Mike's sample pack and it gave an idea of different teeth patterns and how they cut. Of the ones in the pack, I liked the FD-TC the best, but over time I have tried more and more types and are learning which ones work best for me for the type of cutting I am wanting to do at the time. The #9 will probably work good for the blank cutting you want to do. I use to make pens and bottle stoppers, I used a table saw or band saw for blank cutting but I do not see why the scroll saw would not work fine. I would think a #7 blade would handle the pen blanks also. Bottle stoppers are normally somewhat thicker. TC's will do it, but do not hesitate to experiment with other types. Especially when you start doing other types of scrolling.
  9. Great job scrolling that!
  10. Mini-scrolling. Looks almost as difficult as coin cutting. Nice work.
  11. Yep, several at a time for me. I mean you have to have something to do while the finish is drying! And different moods need different projects.
  12. Great piece, great pattern and I am interested in the pattern so thanks Steve.
  13. Glad to have you here Redgam. Hope to see some of your work soon.
  14. I've always liked the looks of this one. You did it very well. I how to give it a try one of these days.
  15. Beautiful scenes. Very well done.
  16. Nice cutting. Great picture of a lab.
  17. Call Seyco. great people
  18. That is going to be beautiful. More work than my box
  19. Which pattern did you get? Can't wait to see it.
  20. Good looking boxes and will be even better when planted.
  21. Beautiful piece. Very fine work.
  22. Nice work.
  23. Her Mom will love it. Nice work on it. Scrolling or anything in the workshop is better than TV anyway. I have not sat an watched TV for several years. The only think that keeps me out of the shop other than work I need to do around my place, is this darn computer. I need to get weaned from it also.
  24. I have seen "peel and stick" paper advertised at various scroll saw sites. You print the pattern right in the paper and peel what ever is on the back and stick it to you wood. Might check it out, if you print your patterns.
  25. You have been busy doing a great batch of scrolling. All very nice.
