    I sure hope you aren't tossing your toner cartridges just because you get a warning. I'm still using the starter black cartridge that my printer came with. I bought one to have on hand. I've never opened the box.

    You neglected to tell us what its purpose is. Is from truing up the thumbscrew ends? I've not had to do that yet.

    I understand how you feel but I disagree in this situation. This person asked for help but offered no details. We all tried to get to the crux of his plight but got no additional input until near the end of the conversation when he thanked us and made his exit. I'm sorry but that's not how it should be done. He was on the sidelines at least up to that point. Why not answer us when we were trying to help?

    Thanks Charlie. After looking at all those pics and seeing it from different angles, I realized that we have been there. When we visited our dear friends in Dandridge Tn. they were kind enough to take us on an excursion into the National Park of the Smokies and I recall going to the store and wandering through and around the mill. It truly is this beautiful. Ooops! After reading more about this mill it appears that I'm wrong. This one is in Va. But.....we did visit one just like it in Tn. Can't have too many mills.

    You might want to try a skip or super skip tooth blade to clear the dust from the kerf. I used the #5 mgt blades on 1 1/2" mahogany but after the fact I was advised this.

    What became of the OP? Another fly in, ask a question and then disappear into the netherland? Now, I'll have to lay awake at night wondering what a light box might consist of. Fly-by-nighters!

    What is a light box? I'm picturing something similar to a downdraft sanding box but with a clear or opaque top that allows light to come through so that you could lay a pattern on top of it and do a tracing. Am I on the right track?

    I was just crying on your shoulder as to how confusing it is to me. I realize you're not the Inkscape guru. Thanks for your help though. Those clear instructions will help tremendously.

    Thanks. I think I get it. Now, if I could just understand "trace bitmap" things would be great. One of the things I've tried to do but so far have failed is to import a pic, do a trace bitmap and then tried to break it all down into pieces and parts so that they can be manipulated. Sometimes I can do it, sometimes not. "Group", " ungroup", "break apart" you name it. Still a mystery to me.

    Right on the money! On all counts! I'm not sure I can keep up with 1750 strokes per anymore though.

    When I told her I was going to buy another saw, she just shook her head. But when I sell something for more than I paid for it, she brags me up. And wants her share. Sonething wrong there.

    Too many years invested to change now. The problem is, she still thinks she's right when I know I am. Not sure what to do about that.

    You did a masterful job on your "how-to" Brenda. I get messed up on the "trace bitmap" command because of all the settings in the trace bitmap box. I have no idea what any of them mean. Also, how do you fit what you want printed into the small box on the screen? Many times what I'm working on will be part in and part out of the box.
