  1. It definitely has something to do with the tension adjustment. I had it on my saw before I upgraded the clamps. Have you tried messing with it yourself?
  2. Want one but out of my budget. Maybe if a deal on a used one came along.
  3. Very nice puzzles. They do look challenging. Hence, the word "puzzle".
  4. After seeing all these great examples, I'll refrain from posting my work. You all do amazing work. I'm in awe.
  5. Fantastic work! I love it!
  6. I'd advise you to still wear your mask. The stuff you can't see would anaze you. I have dust control and an overhead air cleaner and I still wear my mask.
  7. The saws not worth that much is it?
  8. Thanks, I've watched and rewatched all of those and do start to get it but I just found this and it looks like what we might be looking for. I'm just starting to delve into it and I think it will clear up some things. https://design.tutsplus.com/articles/the-a-to-z-of-inkscape--cms-21422 Here's another that looks interesting. https://design.tutsplus.com/articles/back-to-school-28-easy-inkscape-tutorials--cms-21870
  9. Thanks Wichman, I watched the video and actually almost understood it. I do get confused though on some terms that are close in meaning but do different things. Like group & combine & union. Or ungroup, break apart and so on. When to use which one when there is a choice. I guess it just takes time and experience. And I'm getting short on time.
  10. Steven, you might try to get Travis's attention and ask him your question. He's the Inkscape guru here. Just either send him a message or add a @to his name to get his attention. He's usually very good about answering in a timely manner.
  11. Only on certain days.
  12. Thanks everybody. I guess I made firewood.
  13. Not familiar with that. Can you expand on it?
  14. We are thinking very seriously about doing just that Frank. Gonna look at a few places in Arizona this Spring.
  15. Once again, The People's Republic of California has bitten me in the butt. All I want is some denatured alcohol to remove some shellac finish. I can't buy it because I'm not old enough to understand why it's so bad for me. Can anybody give me any suggestions on how to dissolve the light shellac finish I sprayed on my latest project. I have to remove it because the padauk sanding dust got into the maple and has bled the red into the white. I learned a huge lesson here but that's beside the point. I need some help on what to do since I'm too stupid to understand the state laws. Absolutely absurd laws here. So, I'm begging for help. Thanks to anybody who has a constructive suggestion.
  16. At that price, I'd be buying the Hegner just to buy it! It will always be worth more than that. It even has the front tension release.
  17. Paul, take 3 $100 bills out and tell them it's all you have. See what happens.
  18. Yes, it's called a "dead man" switch. Because if you die while at your saw, you're foot will more than likely slide off the switch and turn off whatever machine you are operating. Works great around explosives too. If you have a TNT vest wrapped around you and you take your thumb off the button, "DEAD MAN"!
  19. This one.
  20. Kevin, that lo-profile switch is the Wen. I love how thin it is. Very little pressure to keep it depressed.
  21. Very nicely done. You are one lucky person. Go buy a lottery ticket!
  22. Drive it like you stole it! Because you did. Wen has a great foot switch on Amazon for about $12. I have one and love it. When my other 2 switches quit, I'll buy 2 more.
  23. Merry Christmas to you and yours Travis. And thank you again for all you do to keep this site as great as it is. It is truly a "family"!
  24. That's what it's all about. And thanx for the compliment.
  25. Beautiful work.
