  1. Those came out beautiful Frank. Color adds so much in some cases.
  2. It seems like we had a discussion here, some years ago, regarding blades stretching. The general consensus was that they don't stretch. I swore mine were but it turned to be the tension system on my Dewalt was wearing and needed adjusting internally. I've never experienced blade stretch again.
  3. I sure hope we get the rest of the story. I hate unfinished stories.
  4. Denny, I have always rec'd your emails and usually try to reply in some jocular way just so you knew that I read them. I appreciate your monthly deals and have made good use of them. Thanks for all you do for our hobby. You will remain my go-to source for Pegas blades. Deal or no deal! I just appreciate the great service.
  5. Well, I'm good on one. Great genes.
  6. Just remember 2 things. You are your worst critic and once the pattern is removed nobody knows what "shoulda been".
  7. How do you do it?
  8. My wife can't boil water. If our microwave ever dies, we'll starve.
  9. Well, I wish I was your weight. But, not gonna happen.
  10. Couldn't we all? I came out of boot camp in 64 at 178. Now, add 60 lbs to that.
  11. Are you using spirals or spinning that big board?
  12. I agree with Kevin. We need a couple of pics so we know what you are referring to. We both have experience with green Ex's and Dewalts. The mechanisms are very similar.
  13. As long as you keep the wattage low so it doesn't produce a lot of heat. The safest way would be to use LED bulb. I use flameless candles in my projects .
  14. I highly doubt they make the boards. But you may be right. I'd still give Dewalt service a call.
  15. I never win with my wife. Maybe I'll try it your way.
  16. As long as you don't argue.
  17. I would think a call to Dewalt might be in order. They still make/sell the saw so parts should not be a problem.
  18. Yes, we can't afford to lose any more members. Too many great ones gone too soon.
  19. You might be your best listener.
  20. If you don't scroll, you'll lose your membership here. LOL.
  21. Just imagine, a Hegner is your backup. Most folks would love to have one as their primary. But I understand. I also have one and it sits unused because I have 2 Excaliburs and am more comfortable with them.
  22. Your "engineer" is showing again.
  23. My youngest grandson is adopted out of Kyzakastan. He suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome and lives in his own world.
  24. I'm envious of folks who have relatives that they are close with. I have 4 grandchildren, all adults, who share not a drop of my blood. I am not close with any of them and none of them have any interest in working with their hands. Or minds for that matter. They are content to just float through life. I was close to my Dad and one Grandfather. They both taught me many things and I inherited their spirits of creativity and mechanical ability. I fix stuff! I love making things and learning what makes things tick. I've tried to share my knowledge with my son. He doesn't live near me but we are close in our thoughts. He is a clone of me in many ways. I'm sad for many of the younger generations as they don't seem to see beyond their phones.
  25. Is that the fault of the chair or the alcohol?
