  1. I just have to put a trim on the edges of the plywood. Pattern by Brad Mathews. Issue #88 of Scrollsaw magazine. Woods are White Maple, Orange Osage, Walnut, Wenge, White Oak. Rocks are white Oak, Cherry, Jatoba, Red Oak, Spalted Maple, Zebrawood, Poplar, Maple, Aromatic Cedar. Plywood shadow box. 1 coat of Osmo oil, satin finish.
  2. A few years ago, hubby said I had to start getting rid of my stuff. I started doing a couple of sales a year. I am not interested in doing more than that. I will make a few multiples but not many. I have some stuff that hasn't sold. It was some of my earlier stuff so it shows. I need to figure out a place to get rid of them too!
  3. Hubby's total around 15 guitars.
  4. A couple wonderful looking projects. I really like how you are blending the different styles.
  5. Just a bit far to travel
  6. Thanks Marg. They are one of my favorites as well. I am lucky enough to see them most weekends. I love how graceful they are when they fly.
  7. Thank you Dick.
  8. I don't believe there are any clubs in my area. Not sure there would be interest. I feel like I am the only one in the area!
  9. This has a bunch of digitized magazines. https://www.cro-wood.com/
  10. I have used Sniglet as a font. I did one with only three letters. The kids name was Fox. I did a silhouette of a fox head for the backer. I am not sure what font this was.
  11. One of her patterns was the Pattern a Month project for August. She was even offering advice two weeks before she passed from her hospital bed. It certainly made my "win" bittersweet. I received notice about my win the same day that her husband mentioned she was in a coma. She passed two days later.
  12. Such a loss. I was always thrilled when she "liked" or commented on any of my Facebook posts.
  13. Thank you @MarieC. I didn't watch much of the Olympics. I don't have tv, per se, so I would have to find a streaming service. Congrats to the US on their bronze.
  14. Thank you
  15. Thank you.
  16. Thanks. I was very surprised when I got notice yesterday. It came at a great time as we had our heads and hands in the middle of a boat repair!
  17. That and the nice shade!
  18. I can pack lots of things in spaces others don't even think about. BUT, not in the workshop. I also hate having to move some things to get to others for simple tasks.
  19. Okay, @jimmyG, Kevin or @rafairchild2, you are welcome to Winnipeg and help clear & reorganize my shop!!!. I have gotten a little lax about cleaning. I used to sweep up after every session. Vacuum around the saw. Now that my dust collection system is working sooo much better, I don't do that as much.
  20. Welcome to the group. Great work. I did a star like that early in my journey. I like your two tones.
  21. I have only used spiral blades a few times. It seems to me that the dust didn't blow off as easily as it does with flat blades. I wonder if it is because of the spiral on the blades.?
  22. Very nice Frank.
  23. What a beautiful tribute to your sister. Sorry for your loss.
  24. I have cut this as well. It is a pattern from here. This is the link. https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/gallery/image/16270-daddys-hand/
