  1. As usual, nice clean cutting. Good to see your work again. Hope all is well with you.
  2. I made them from MDF so they were painted. I did ask everyone what their favourite colours are and did the scarves in that. I reduced them to about 80%. You can see them here. https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/topic/50761-christmas-stuff/
  3. Well done. I did those last year for my nieces and nephews.
  4. Lovely! I sure it will be much appreciated.
  5. Should you be satisfied with the completed project - absolutely. It isn't a race against anyone. Stop comparing yourself to others, it only causes stress. (been there done that). If you have improved from your first cut to your last cut than that is what is important.
  6. I think you have this intarsia thing! Well done.
  7. Great idea. Interesting to see what he uses for the colours as well. When do we get to see you project Paul?
  8. Sad to say.....been there, done that! Twice!!!!
  9. I did these bag tags/key rings for my daughter's synchro team a number of years ago. The sport has now changed it's name. It is now called Artistic Swimming.
  10. thank you
  11. There was a bit more sanding that I used to do. And again, good thing lines are only a suggestion
  12. Went back to some fretwork. Steve Good pattern. 1/4" bbply. Failed experiment with scrapbook paper for colour. The glue caused it to wrinkle. Finished with one coat of varathane.
  13. And I haven't had any luck with glue sticks. The patterns seem to slide right off.
  14. Charlie, Doesn't matter if your neighbors don't like it. There are lots of "art" that people put in their yards that I don't understand. One lady, near me, had skulls hanging from her tree. That I really didn't understand.
  15. Great work. Nice clean painting on the plane!
  16. It was a great game of "find the difference" Thanks for the fun Unless you want to go on a trip, I wouldn't go.
  17. If only they, still, weren't so expensive.(Canada)
  18. He is cute!
  19. I started reading the replies and when I got to MrsN I looked at the date and realized it is an older thread. Then I realized she hasn't been on in a long time. Hope all is well @MrsN . Then I saw @amazingkevin! Hope he is okay!
  20. Looks great Frank.
  21. So, what I actually received was the belt sander part. He didn't order the "extra" which was the flat discs, keyed chuck etc. I have just the motor unit with the belt sanding. I recently purchased this https://www.temu.com/goods.html. It fits in my foredom style rotary tool.
  22. This was made from laminate flooring.
  23. Hubby got me this for Christmas last year. It has been great, especially for small pieces. https://www.amazon.ca/PTMTFYL-Adjustable-Electric-Anti-Slip-Polishing/dp/B0D7GKH4CW/
  24. Looking forward to seeing more intarsia!
