  1. Not sure what you are talking about. The white section at the bottom is intentional. That is how it was done in the magazine.
  2. Nice cutting. Just wish the saying were true here
  3. Glad that everyone is okay. Your word art plaques are very nice. Great sayings and nice clean cutting.
  4. Well done Dick. Very cute. I like the frame and backer ideas.
  5. No animals were hurt. I purchased the Walrus Oil at a local shop, Professional Grinding. I like that there is no odour when using it. I would have liked it to be thinner to be able to dip/soak puzzle pieces.
  6. Nope. It did take a couple of weeks. Saw was down for about a week before I went out and got a new one. Also had a few other things that are needing to get done.
  7. Sighting of the first robin of the season. Not sure of the wood. Cut with a #1 blade. Acrylic paints. Frame is a gel stain - don't remember the colour. Complete finish with Walrus Oil. Definitely some errors, but only I know about them. You can see the progress in the Works in Progess section. @heppnerguy- this was done over a couple of weeks, just so ya know!
  8. Well done. The contrast is great!
  9. They look lovely Dick. Well done.
  10. I am sorry to make you feel lazy, certainly not my intention. Staying busy helps the days pass. The cutting will be slowing down now as I am getting ready to sew a big project for the boat.
  11. I have the same tubes as @FrankEV. I have been keeping them in a small paper bag that had handles. The bag has finally ripped so time to make a better holder.
  12. Shrink wrap is the only way to go on puzzles. Keeps everything together!!
  13. Alex Fox designed it to be done either way. The first time I did it, I did it with the border.
  14. Great work Don. Are you sharing the pattern? I find it interested that I hear a lot - "love gnomes" but very few of mine have sold at my events.
  15. I won't chime in about blades because it is very much personal choice. It looks like you have it on a piece with live edges. I would leave it with the live edge.
  16. It looks amazing Kevin. Great work. Sometimes simple is best.
  17. Looks great. I have to get around to doing that one as well. I think I have printed it a few times now.
  18. Just a couple of pieces that I finally got wrapped up. Puzzles cut from reclaimed Elm. Name puzzle is plywood. The hummingbird originally had the border around it, but it fell and broke. Lost a small piece so I couldn't glue it together.
  19. This is what I do as well.
  20. It isn't "just a scrolled heart". It is a beautiful piece of work.
  21. Lovely cutting. Where did you get the pattern for the single butterfly (on the yellow backer)
  22. I just used the 1/8" bbply per layer. Don't remember the blade because it was at least a year ago that I started it. Lost control on the waves.
  23. Welcome from Winnipeg
  24. As Bob Ross would say, "A happy little accident"
