  1. Kev, I think I would have preferred the hand signing. I think the sticker makes it look "cheap". Not really the word I am looking for but not sure what works better. It just looks "wrong".
  2. Well done. Congrats on the anniversary.
  3. I am like you in that all the work for hopes of selling isn't really my thing. I have another event in November, which is a 2 day event. Did it last year as well and it was quite successful. I will probably just continue as I am - post something on my fb page for friends & family to see. Sold a fair bit that way.
  4. Only an hour for the 50 holes - who are you? Speedy Gonzales??? Looks amazing by the way!!
  5. Beautiful work.
  6. I was very close to doing that, but I hate "giving up!"
  7. But after June we should be Winnerpeg - football season is upon us. Thanks for the laugh!
  8. Congrats on the new toy. Looking forward to seeing your work.
  9. My sister used to run a church sale. Her definition of a success was making the table cost! I guess I was a success!
  10. Did a "summer" market today. Debated going because of the weather. Decided to go because they were doing, and did, a lot of advertising. Shoulda stayed home. Glad I wore my down vest with rain jacket and had gloves. Would have prefered the winter coat. Temperature was 10 celcius with wind gusting to 60 kph and intermittentrain showers. The cinder blocks held the borrowed canopy. Couldn't do the setup as planned because of the wind. Sales wise, I made table cost plus $20. The bragging right is I survived the sh*t weather.
  11. Don, It isn't all that bad to cut. I probably should have used different blades. I find the open "sides" difficult to finish. I typically dip in Tung Oil and it doesn't finish the edges very well. I should probably be putting a sealer on first but it is hard on a fret work piece.
  12. Sounds tasty.
  13. I did stack cut. I am not a fan of the material I used. There was a fair bit of breakout on the back side.
  14. Very nice. What are Grinder sandwiches?
  15. John, I just cut some scrap book paper (card stock) to fit the spaces. The rest is a dark blue. I have read your article in adding colour and will give it a try on another project.
  16. Thanks for the link. Spent some time looking through the freebies. Grabbed a few to cut.
  17. Finally got these finished in time for my sale on Thursday. Framed with cheap frames because I have no idea how to make frames! lol! Colour is just scrap booking paper taped to the back. The wood is craft mdf plywood from KJP Select Hardwoods.
  18. They look great Ray.
  19. Awesome job. I really like the middle one!! lol!!
  20. Great idea and lovely cutting
  21. Great work.
  22. Great work, Dick.
  23. So, just cause I can't seem to wrap my head around this, the "puzzle" is a picture that you glued to the wood then cut into the puzzle!?
  24. Very nice cutting.
  25. Great painting. Nice cuts as well.
