  3. This summer has been the pits her in Canada's capital, so not much time on the golf course but I can always go and make some sawdust. Got 2 more cheese cutters done and a Poodle Wood used for the cheese cutters are : Walnut, Maple Mahogany and Zebra wood. I applied 3 coats of bees wax buffing between each coat, ready for some cheese. Poodle was cut using oak and painted black for show.

  7. Thanks to Wayne for the pattern of the circular holder. These are for holding "diffuser" bottles, customer wanted a circular one to hold 15 bottles (Wayne Pattern) and two rectangular to hold 6 bottles each. Wood used is Walnut 3/4" thick Now let's hope for sunshine and good golf.
  8. Just finish this before the real golf season start. Cut out of a piece of white oak and 3 coats of Tung Oil.
  9. I would go with the FDUR # 5 or 7
  10. Wood use was red oak, white oak, patterns are from Bobscroll and Chachi, blades used FDUR # 3 and 5 and my go to finish is Tung oil at least 3 coats

  17. Excellent piece of craftsmanship
  18. Made a few more trivets, south western dream catcher and magic golf ball holder this week. Golf season is coming soon in my neck of the woods, courses are open but we had lot's of rain and more to come so not too much fun to play so far. That's fine with me more time with my scroll saw.
  19. I also like Weldbond because it dry crystal clear and stick very well also. For bigger job my go to is TitebondIII. Will give Loctite a try. Since I'm just about out of Weldbond

  22. It was just as easy to cut two than only one. I just use the two pieces of wood together with the glue gun,cut the inside and after glued 2 more pieces for the backing and there it is, 2 for the time and price of one.
  23. Kevin I just used the table saw to rip the wood 1" wide and glue them face up (open end grain) and the sanding was done with belt sander, started with 80 grit and then to 120, next palm sander from 180, 220 and finish with 400 grit. Glue that I use is Titebond III
  24. I made a few boxes that you have to cut the inside, saved them and used the forester bit to drill the hole in the middle. Got the glass candle holder and voila you have a nice little hostess gift or give away. Save a forest LOL I just used 3 coats of Tung oil for the finish. Just add some more
