Made a few more trivets, south western dream catcher and magic golf ball holder this week. Golf season is coming soon in my neck of the woods, courses are open but we had lot's of rain and more to come so not too much fun to play so far. That's fine with me more time with my scroll saw.

I also like Weldbond because it dry crystal clear and stick very well also. For bigger job my go to is TitebondIII. Will give Loctite a try. Since I'm just about out of Weldbond

It was just as easy to cut two than only one. I just use the two pieces of wood together with the glue gun,cut the inside and after glued 2 more pieces for the backing and there it is, 2 for the time and price of one.

Kevin I just used the table saw to rip the wood 1" wide and glue them face up (open end grain) and the sanding was done with belt sander, started with 80 grit and then to 120, next palm sander from 180, 220 and finish with 400 grit. Glue that I use is Titebond III

I made a few boxes that you have to cut the inside, saved them and used the forester bit to drill the hole in the middle. Got the glass candle holder and voila you have a nice little hostess gift or give away. Save a forest LOL I just used 3 coats of Tung oil for the finish. Just add some more

Tried something different, had some nice maple and walnut and decided to try to make a cutting board. Since the wife said that it was her, I think it turned out OK. I used my router to cut some fingers hold on the side.

I had a few hours this week to spend in the shop, I did some easy stuff just to keep in the mood. Both patterns are from Steve Good.

Spend two months in AZ, now back to the white stuff(not sand) and freezing temperature. Now it is time to get back at the Excalibur. Made some easy stuff to get back in the grove.

The pattern is from Scroller and I just follow their idea for the hanger, not fun to drill through a 1/4" piece of wood.
