  1. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  2. Thanks Al. It was a fun project to complete.
  3. Thanks. Tony. I have made several, but this is the first with feathers.
  4. On my last project, Bear Dream Catcher, I user FD New Spiral #1 with no slippage. I slowly clamp which tends to align the ends.
  5. I finished this project on Monday, May 9th. The design is by Sue Mey and found in CWWC May 2012. I used poplar for the dream catcher and bloodwood and holly for the feathers. The holly was not very white and had a lot of blue. I used FD New Spiral #1 on the internal cuts of the bear and FD UR #1 on all the other cuts. The dream catcher is 8" in diameter and from top to bottom 22". We sell the wood beads at ArtCrafters. Comments welcome.
  6. Very nice. I prefer a natural finish.
  7. Very nice. You must scroll 24 hours a day!
  8. I buy thin wood online from Ocooch Hardwoods. Good products and great service.
  9. Very well done. Where do you find time to make so many projects?
  10. Very nice sign. I made one similar, but with the letters cut out. Yours looks much better.
  11. That light box is wonderful, Ike. Very good cutting, especially the stars.
  12. Well done, Ike. Great looking Key Rack.
  13. A great idea for the project. Very nice cutting.
  14. Someone's mm will be very happy.
  15. That is a large sign and well done.
  16. Very nice bowl. A bugger to sand though. Beautiful.
  17. Very well done. Good to get ahead of the game.
  18. With spiral blades can cut in any direction. Breakage indicates pushing the wood and not letting the blade do the cutting.
  19. Very good for you first. Spirals are very hard to make straight lines. I suggest a flat blade.
  20. Very nice and I can see a lot of work.
  21. Way cute, Pete.
  22. I think this is one of the cutest yet.
  23. I completed three of Don's patterns and hope to do more.
  24. A work of art. The fit and shaping are right on. The use of color enhances the piece.
  25. Well done on the box, especially on the inlay. As for finish, I like clear satin, but again it is what you like.
