  1. Happy wife, happy life. Nice job.
  2. Alex, glad to hear your okay at the moment. Prayers continue to be said for your country. Please keep us updated. As you can. Let us know if bothered are further things that might be of help.
  3. You must have a very steady hand and lots of patience. Nice work.
  4. Nice work Edward.
  5. Welcome from East Tennessee.
  6. Another Tennessee welcome.
  7. Congratulations on the new family addition. I’m sure the sign is loved. Nice work on it.
  8. Great piece. Pattern and cutting.
  9. Beautiful piece. I love seeing the detailed patterns and cuttings you create. I will never do one, but I love looking at yours. I do not have the patience for drilling all the holes and threading the blades in them. (Even if it is one hole at a time, I know myself and know it drives me crazy. )
  10. Nice work and I’m sure she loves it. Saying is quite true as well.
  11. Paul, I’m sorry to hear of yours and your lovely wife’s health struggles. I’m glad you are doing better after your stroke. I understand the issues your wife is having. My MIL dealt with similar. It’s difficult on you both I’m sure. I’m pretty sure also that your family doesn’t live very close to be able to help. Prayers said for you both. I’m glad to hear you get a little shop time and she can still do a little quilting. Having things to keep you focused and working is good. Your piece above is beautiful and intricate. Keep us updated as you have opportunities to do so.
  12. Like you guys, I too had wondered about Paul @Scrappile and I had checked his profile a few days ago and had seen he had been online recently. I know from time to time he takes a break from regularly posting. Hope he knows we miss him when he does, but we understand as well.

    Hello

    Welcome Jack from east Tennessee.
  14. Thank you for the updates.
  15. Thanks Rolf for giving that info on the last CD covering through Issue 72, Fall, 2018. I thought it was 2019 or 2018 but couldn’t recall off the top of my head and I confess I let my lazy side win on this one. I have also purchased a couple of issues of the german magazine, I think after you and/or Scott had shared about it I think with that nativity pattern. I also think I still need to make that one.
  16. Hello Peter and welcome to the Village from across the pond in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee.
  17. I’m sorry for family’s loss. I’m glad you we’re able to Get the pattern and get it cut. Nice work.
  18. Very cute.
  19. Beautiful piece.
  20. Frank, there is not. Each of those 6 CDs have a couple or so years on them. They do not have the last few years out yet. (I forget what the last one covers through.) Besides Buying physical back issues of the magazines (if available, not all issues are) this is the only way to obtain the issues and patterns.
  21. Very cute Gnomes Marge. Glad you took some time off after the holidays. I finally touched and made some cuts on my saw yesterday for the first time in awhile. Not sure if I should add a for that or a for it since it’s been so long.
  22. Thanks Kevin, I figured most knew where to get to Alex’s Etsy shop but it’s always good to have a direct link and I was going to go get it too edit my post and share. I was referring to Charles Hand’s post regarding Alex’s Peace pattern for those who might like to create it in honor of he and his countrymen in Ukraine as I wasn’t sure if it was in his Etsy shop. I don’t see. That Anatoly has an shop. He has been published in several articles of the Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazines from 2019 forward through several in 2020 and 2021 I know of.
  23. I don’t think anything specific had changed recently but. @Travis may be able to tell us. I do know there are ways to have it show you all the most recent posts no matter which subsection it is in. Perhaps you had that setting and it has changed. I usually use my iPad and my computer to view the forums. I have rarely used my phone and probably have not at all in a while, so I’m not very familiar with viewing it from my phone or how it shows on the phone I’m afraid.
  24. This is latest post on “Intarsia Nuts” Facebook group on word from Anatoly. It was posted Today, Sunday morning at around 8:00 am EST which would make them once again approaching evening on Sunday in Ukraine. Prayers Continue for both and all of Ukraine. I have been watching for updates on Alex Fox but Gary’s above is latest I have seen. I did see one post where it said Charles Hand had communicated with Alex (but I think it may have been earlier then Gary’s last communication above) which indicated that Alex had shared a layered peace pattern for free and encouraging folks to support Alex and buy some of his patterns from his Etsy store. The info, I saw did not have actual link to Charles Hand’s post so I can’t provide that here. Does anyone know anything on it?
  25. It’s always been listed in the subsection of “Everything Else.” There are 3 main subsections in the Village forum area. There is the “Town Square,” “Pattern Central,” and “Everything Else”. Each of those subsections have multiple sub-forums in them. The 3 you listed are in the “Town Square.” What you “see” at any time depends on how deep you are into the forums, as well as what tool (phone, PC, tablet) you are using to view the Village on. These are the forums by subsections. Of course, there are also other sections and areas in the Village outside of these areas in the forum. Such as the Pattern Library, scroll saw reviews, tutorials, and User Galleries are just a few. and the “Resources” area which include these: this is just some areas and items. I hope everyone takes opportunities to look around at the Village and find all the things we have available here to us.
