  1. I have one, I bought the dust collection attachment. It works as a hand held model. It’s kind of fat for my hands.
  2. My favorite from 2023 is my North Carolina State Fair winner!
  3. I feel everything should have a finish. Spray, poly or Danish oil would be fine as long as it is not attached to the mirror yet.
  4. I make a sandwich with 1/8” plywood on the top and bottom. I think it’s the safest way. You could also try cardboard. I use the cardboard from boxes of different dry goods from my pantry when cutting vinyl records. I always consider if the box is too good to throw away and might help with scrolling.
  5. Those are very interesting! They allow the wood to shine!
  6. When doing remodeling, I always kept a dollar store lipstick in my tool kit. It is very useful!
  7. It was a 50 cent piece.
  8. I need to see that! No picture, no fun!
  9. I don’t like cutting red cedar either. It puts its sticky dust everywhere! Especially if doing compound cuts.
  10. I saw a pattern by Steve Good that was an Angel cut from plexiglass. It got me thinking about other things that can be cut with the scroll saw. Here are a few. Plexiglass, paper, a tablet of paper, metal, and leather. Fabric can also be cut, I am not a quilter. Thats all I was willing to try. ,
  11. I use scraps leftover from other projects for flat ornaments. Usually 1/4”
  12. I believe double stick tape and “Stick and Release” Scroll saw tape, sold by The Wooden Teddy Bear are two different things. Double stick tape is for temporary sticking 2 pieces of wood together and the Scroll Saw tape is for adhering a pattern to the wood.
  13. My best seller Sheila Landry Design
  14. That saw is still running like a champ Charley. I used it all weekend at the Extravaganza!
  15. I didn’t realize they carried that. I will try to remember to pick some up!
  16. Me too! I forget the code most of the time too!
  17. I have an HP Office Jet Pro 7740. It does take ink cartridges. It has 2 paper trays so I can print either 8 1/2 by 11 paper or large format 11 X 17” paper. I put full size self adhesive label paper in my old printer. I like having choices.
  18. That is extremely impressive work!
  19. So, maybe a plate stand instead? You might have to add a ledge to the stand.
  20. I don’t understand how it works either. Inquiring minds want to know!
  21. That is very cool! I do love fretwork
