  1. I need to see that! No picture, no fun!
  2. I don’t like cutting red cedar either. It puts its sticky dust everywhere! Especially if doing compound cuts.
  3. I saw a pattern by Steve Good that was an Angel cut from plexiglass. It got me thinking about other things that can be cut with the scroll saw. Here are a few. Plexiglass, paper, a tablet of paper, metal, and leather. Fabric can also be cut, I am not a quilter. Thats all I was willing to try. ,
  4. I use scraps leftover from other projects for flat ornaments. Usually 1/4”
  5. I believe double stick tape and “Stick and Release” Scroll saw tape, sold by The Wooden Teddy Bear are two different things. Double stick tape is for temporary sticking 2 pieces of wood together and the Scroll Saw tape is for adhering a pattern to the wood.
  6. My best seller Sheila Landry Design
  7. That saw is still running like a champ Charley. I used it all weekend at the Extravaganza!
  8. I didn’t realize they carried that. I will try to remember to pick some up!
  9. Me too! I forget the code most of the time too!
  10. I have an HP Office Jet Pro 7740. It does take ink cartridges. It has 2 paper trays so I can print either 8 1/2 by 11 paper or large format 11 X 17” paper. I put full size self adhesive label paper in my old printer. I like having choices.
  11. That is extremely impressive work!
  12. So, maybe a plate stand instead? You might have to add a ledge to the stand.
  13. I don’t understand how it works either. Inquiring minds want to know!
  14. That is very cool! I do love fretwork
  15. Very nice!
  16. It depends on the type of bowl or basket you are making. The stacked rings like Steve Good or Alex Fox makes, it doesn’t really matter. They are not cut on an angle.
  17. Thanks Charley!
  18. That is now in my “To Do” stack! I hope mine turns out as nice as yours did.
  19. It IS beautiful!
  20. I installed the lifter with the instructions to drill the little hole in the plastic cover instead of clipping the bit off. It worked like a charm! Love mine!
  21. Did you buy The Scroll Saw Workbook? You might be able to check it out at your local library. I always recommend it to my students. Also look to You Tube for scrolling information.
