  1. I scroll in a spare room in my house. I bought a Scrollnado to go on my Dewalt 788, and hooked it to my Festool vac. The smallest one. It works fine. It isn’t dust free. It is much better, and my husband doesn’t complain.
  2. Well, #*! I even have that book! Thanks for looking for me!
  3. I am looking for horse ornaments compound cuts, fretwork, ornaments that aren’t huge. Any ideas?
  4. I wrap my blanks in packing tape. All 4 sides, and use a skip tooth blade.
  5. I am just happy to know that I’m not the only one. By the way, It turned out great!
  6. When I started there was no internet. I went to the library and checked out books to learn. I have learned many things through books.
  7. That is extremely beautiful!
  8. I also recommend the Scroll Saw Workbook. Steve good has some good, easy patterns, the baskets and bowls especially are good for beginners, (repetitive cuts). I also recommend Steve Good YouTube videos. You can order some Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazines as well. Sometimes the older ones go on sale.
  9. I have a pair of needle nose pliers for when a blade gets bent and stuck in the wood, an awl, a extended reach magnet (it’s actually attached to the metal saw stand) and the pack of blades I am using.
  10. Mineral spirits WILL remove patterns with spray adhesive. I was not able to get good results with removing self adhesive labels. I am posting this because I think the topic got confused.
  11. I got my patterns from Scroll Saw Woodworking magazines.
  12. Thank you for telling us how to do it. I need step by step instruction for some things.
  13. I definitely use the shelf liner! The label does NOT come off the wood.
  14. I REALLY like that one!
  15. That show was great! I am old enough to have loved the original television series as well!
  16. I use a #5 skip tooth blade for most things. There is usually one in the saw.
  17. My first saw was a Craftsman, it took pinned blades. I bought two more cheap, used saws. They used adapters for pinless blades. My advice, don’t waste time and money, buy the Dewalt.
  18. Never raise the blade while it is spinning!
  19. I use it to glue the hangers to the back of my projects.
  20. I have my vacuum hooked up with my foot switch. How can I add the clock (that I just ordered)?
  21. Impressive! Wow!
  22. Beautiful work!
  23. Newspaper, the flyers with ads just inside the grocery store, junk mail flyers…
  24. You can get in in a craft store like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby or the craft department at Walmart.
