  1. I recently went to visit family in Greenville, SC. While there I saw an art piece outside that was a large piece of metal with butterflies cut and the wings were raised out of the metal. I cut a vinyl record. All Steve Good Butterflies . I warmed the butterflies with my hair blower and used metal dental picks to bend and support the wings while it cooled
  2. Is there supposed to be a picture? If so, I didn’t get it.
  3. Kevin, those are AMAZING!
  4. I like to look for the colorful ones.
  5. Welcome from North Carolina
  6. Very cool
  7. Here is a picture. I added a second record to the back.
  8. I have researched this. Labels are attached while the vinyl is still warm during the manufacturing process. They are not removable. I have placed a paper insert from the record that had the center cut out to show the label over the record to provide a block while spraying the label. That worked pretty well.
  9. Thanks for taking it apart. I couldn’t see it either.
  10. If you go to the website, there is a database, or index.
  11. OH My!
  12. I have tried the rubber band thing, it laughed.
  13. My thoughts exactly. I have a EX 21. That pesky knob will turn on its own.
  14. This was cut in 1/8” BB plywood. Dipped in Danish oil. The frame is 16 3/4 X 13 3/4. Inches Over 600 cuts.
  15. So happy to hear from you!
  16. My husband just found some on EBAY. Ordered me one! Sweet guy!
  17. I do use a spare bedroom for scrolling. I do use dust collection. I do NOT live in an apartment or condo.. this hobby is loud. Saw, dust collection, sanders. We downsized by buying a pre-owned modular home. It ain’t fancy, but we love it!
  18. I have one. It is not magic, but I think it works much better than not having one.
  19. That is cool!
  20. Cold is terrible! My last one, we got rain, no notice, 3 hours early! At least you made table rent. We did too!
  21. I have cut quite a few compound cuts. Yes, it matters. The problem CAN come with the proportions on the opposite cut. Remember, you tape it all back together before cutting the opposite side. That little 1/4” or 1/2” can really change the outcome.
  22. However, my point is because it makes the puzzle too tight your way, my way should loosen it just enough. You won’t know until you try.
