  2. My supply is down, so I better stock up while I can.
  3. My inticrate pieces are held together with tape, hope and sometimes a fall out piece is saved to glue in place when mounting on a backboard. Usually a miss cut is only noticable by the cutter

  8. Wouldn't know I did have type 1 worked ran smoother than saw I have now. I did have to dismantle it and regrease and put pegas chuck heads on it. I eventually sold it to someone who was frustrated with whatever saw they were using

  10. We have sawmills in the area, going full steam with construction grade spruce, quality lumber gets shipped out of the country, the rest goes to British Columbia and none to our local lumber yards here as our Rona and Pineland get their supply from British Columbia. I wonder what is with that!
  11. Wow coke is good for something. I used to love it specially mixed with whiskey but that is history . I use paint thinner or mineral spirits for cleaning maybe mineral spirits would have been good in the whiskey glass back then
  12. nice I haven't done one of these for some time now
  13. hope you enjoy your new Seyco. I bought one a few rears ago, took some time for things like muscle memory to reach under and fasten lower blade holder and there was loose bolts that caused vibration but now it runs like a doll and a pleasure to use.
  14. worked for me as well
  15. I done the aquarium pump it worked well but the vac system is best. Scroll saw dust can be as fine as like flour. That is the stuff that really effects my COPD
  16. I live in North Saskatchewan where winters are long can get very cold so have gas heated shop that i insulated very well and spend a lot of time in the shop, summers are nice long sunshine days but right now North American heat wave has hit us and will effect us only about a week I hope. At 78 I am getting slower to do things and perhaps take more to think through a project. We still maintain our home and yard and like Rocky have no intention of ever leaving our home . I like all kinds of woodworking but settling more into scroll sawing and carving as these activites can be sit down jobs.

  22. My solution to this problem is to use bigger blade the real fine blades tend to raise my frustration level
  23. I promise not to tell anyone if you promise not to tell on me as I use it for cleanups, pattern release, soaking the M 77 nozzle and sometimes to start a fire in the fire place
