People smater tham me have said where I live if one digs a hole through the center of the earth and on through to the far side we would end up in your back yard So if weget tired of scrolling we could start digging- maybe meet in the middle' for a scroll sawn project exchange

  12. My go to scroll chair is an old office chair as well, it is comfortable to scroll from and I don't have move to another chair when I want to have a snooze
  13. I try a any species that comes my way, soft woods like pine, spruce have more tendency to break along grain lines. Was given agift certificate from Windsor hardwoods so bought Canary,wood, tiger wood, yellow tarara and zebrawood all 3/4 in. and around 20 bucks a board foot the other day was well pleased
  14. When this happens to me I will use # 5 or so spiral, insure it is square with the table and use it like a sander to square ,trim the cut

  20. I am retired and also a nuisance in the kitchen so shop and scroll saw has become a passion I buy patterns from pattern makers, use the help yourself pattern makers from SSV pattern site. I have tried a few pattern making projects using the HB pencil as the inkscape programs are bit beyond my computer ability. A few days ago I down loaded a picture of a kitten that I found on Frank Ev's brag site. A simple easy cut pattern .
  21. Boy! I thought I had it tough living at the forest fringe in Saskatchewan Canada
  22. I was told to tap the bottle on the bench after using then cap it. this will lessen chance of glue build up at the squirt out nozzle
  23. You have the right idea Frank sometimes I will put slight back pressure as I turn a corner
  24. I had an old 788 ran it for years gave it a grease job went together fine and ran just like knew wished I hadn't sold but there was a young person wanting to get into scrolling thought it was best to have him start on good saw
  25. Interesting compact sanders. I live in Canada and looked on the Amazon under Wen sanders and the unit you show didn't show then went to Triton sanders and there is the Wen at 87 bucks
