  7. You will develop your own technique the more you use them. I am a top down feeder so I install the top first, opening the clamp holder wider than one does for straight blades. Then ensuring it is placed properly between the clamps I tighten very tight. Threading it through the holes and opening the bottom clamp wider than straight blades I do the same thing. If the blade is not sitting in the clamp correctly it will slip. For me there was lots of trial and errorr to develop the muscle memory to find the right spot especially on the bottom clamp. It is o.K to have a look under the table to see how every thing are lining up.

  19. Thank you for bringing Lesley's Patterns issue to the forum. I had issues with their service a few years ago, As a scroll saw group we need to have each other's back. Maybe this will help to save another scroller from a potential frustrating issue
  20. I sign work either with a permanent fine point marker or a wood burner
  21. It hurts to see these old urban grown trees head for the garbage after a storm but the down side to salvage these trees is nails that have driven in over the years to hold posters.
  22. I tried some fibre core 1/4 inch veneer oak plywood It worked o.k for projects the need a back board . I learned not to touch it up with a sander as the veneer is really thin.

  24. BB here were I live is selling at $70.00 bucks for a 5x5 sheet (if one can even get it) of 1/8 I stocked up some months ago when it was $17 bucks for the same size
  25. Forgot to mention I find spirals need more tension adjustment as they stretch with use, heat etc
