  1. Clamp together with lots of titebond three for an hour or more
  2. Some time ago several posters asked if I could post a how to our tutorial of making bracelets. I will try to start that process as u wait in line for Costco gasoline.... The one I will show you is an end grain bracelet as it has the most steps. Gather your wood that you want as end grain components.
  3. Beneficial to have them all the same uniform size width and height if you want, unlike here but I used a planer later and I make some wider like this one in the middle.

  5. well done Kevin!
  6. One thicker and one thinner option, these are absolutely great. the oak Combs I posted a few weeks ago are obviously porous, this wood is not, this is sanded down to 1000 grit. My son shows that he took part....I just cut another from torrified maple, it's even thicker but may be my favorite...

Yes I did get that, the loon call is most certainly one of my favourite sounds, and I would not alter the pattern unless I talked to Neptune...
  8. that lighthouse is really great!
  9. well done with that cardinal, what wood is that?
  10. thanks Len Birch tree was the most intricate/delicate and took about 2 hours to cut as I had to stop after virtually every cut and tape up the section so that I did not break it when I went back to cut more. the feather was about just shy of 1.5 hours worth of cutting I would guess the bamboo was about an hour the paddler was about 13/4 hours I would guess... the warriors logo was about an hour.
  11. Spectacular!!!!
  12. thanks, no theme really just make stuff all the time, love trees and things that fly and most often you can't beat the contrast black offers...

agreed, mostly in a kayak and not a canoe I used to love paddling at dusk and at night often. I suppose a loon or two could put into this and for sure I will do this pattern again its gorgeous

This is Neptune's pattern. Thanks so much for this pattern, I love it and loved cutting it. This is cut from what I think is old spalted maple flooring. Mounted on a drawer bottom and framed with entertainment unit. To me it reminds me of paddling in the northern lights.

Thanks Rocky, its mounted on a square artist canvass painted with blue acrylic, one coat only which is what he wanted, I suggested two coats and darker but he wanted it this way....now I am not sure what to do with the frame which I cut today from Doug fir...Wood with Tung oil and Poly or just like the pic above a black frame looks sharp. Could also go with golden state yellow I suppose....

Son wanted it on a blue background, also added Stephan Curry, 30 just like the Jersey. Now he wants it framed
  22. that is well cut Kevin but what I would like to know more about is that wicked looking set up you have there... do you have your dealt tilted that much when you scroll? What is keeping it upright? It seems that is a sever angle and I wonder what the front legs look like? Perhaps you just built a riser for the back of the stand? Also is that a huge fan that you simpy use to blow away all the dust? I think thats a brilliant idea....
  23. well done, that is great cutting and a great pattern! Its on my to do list...
