  1. Nicely done - love the dog heart - gotta make me one of those
  2. I'm a pack rat for sure. Smaller everyday screws, nails and bolts (1" - 2 1/2") I store in plastic Mayo jars all labeled appropriately. Lesser used items such as larger screws (2 3/4" +), roofing nails, hurricane clips etc I store in plastic coffee containers - Fulgers I use mostly the large size I get from Sam's club. Very small parts I have a few drawer cabinets that house them - shelf pins, 'L' brackets, small hinges, small screws and nails (under 1") etc. Odds and ends I also keep in various plastic containers. I do not have any glass containers in my shop or saved for storage just in case I get the clutzies and drop a container - which I tend to do often.
  3. Nicely done - thanks for sharing! Sea life one of my favorite cuts as well
  4. Not a fan myself, but the wife is a headbanger and yes we both know who that is and it's a nice cut as well! Thanks for sharing it

  7. Sweet - ty for sharing it
  8. Very cool - love the clock - gives me an idea as well!
  9. With what tool would you want to cut this circle? There are (and I have a few) many plans for this, from a table saw jig, to a router to a band saw etc.
  10. I would love to have a club in my area, but it seems there aren't many in the area interested. I think there is one scroller a few miles away, and Scroolsaw pete comes to pcb once in awhile but that's about all I know of the area. Too bad really
  11. I use these gates - I have about 10 of them on various outlets with no problems As others have mentioned, they need to be kept clean - I'm going to try @tgiro 's method - sounds like a winner
  12. Sherwin Williams has paint that will work with no issues (I used to work at a paint store). Just tell them your situation and they should have a recommendation. Base paint is fine - there are several base types so depending on the color you want, you must have the correct base. In addition, I recommend add the Moldicide to the paint - it really helps maintain the paint and provides fungicidal protection: https://www.homedepot.com/p/M-1-7-5-oz-Advanced-Mildewcide-AM7-5/100114931 Hope that helps
  13. There is actually a paint made for Vinyl (I used to work in a paint store) - might want to go to Sherwin/'Williams and talk to them about it
  14. I stay off FB myself, but thanks for the heads up Are there other organizations worth being a member?
  15. While hey if it works, who's to complain but really, 5 gallons of molasses? The cost alone sounds prohibitive, no? Not to mention the bugs it would attract?
  16. What I have found works best is soaking what ever has rust on it. 2nd best is to wipe on and keep wet what ever has rust for at least an hour if its a thick layer, less time if it'snot. For me, I have some items that are so rusted they have to be soaked over night as well as some that I've been soaking for a week - the outcome however is always better than having to buy another widget.
  17. Wow, good job! Would you mind posting a pic of the laser ? Don't think I've seen these
  18. I have this saw and I absolutely love it! I started my scrolling with a Wen (I still have it and it is still set up as an extra saw) and upgraded to the Delta - it does everything I need it to do and I'm very pleased with its functionality. Hope that helps and welcome Here's a review of it, as well as a bunch of comments: (I gave it a 4 out 5 since I don't give 5 star reviews)
  19. IMO these masks are disposable once the straps break The filters should be replaceable long enough that if you can get a year or twos worth of wear out of them you've basically paid $1.50 a month for renting the mask and filters That's how I look at it anyway
  20. Unfortunately I'm in the same boat - maybe a good idea on paper, but not in practice.
  21. I never hooked mine up - didn't like it at all
  22. Nicely done - thanks for sharing - love the pup
  23. Amazing, simply amazing!
  24. Are you talking about the 14"? here https://www.harborfreight.com/14-in-oscillating-spindle-sander-69257.html If it were me, and it will be in a few weeks I hope, I would just spend the extra few dollars and get the Rigid Oscillating/belt sander here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/WEN-Oscillating-Belt-and-Spindle-Sander-6524/308605438 Or the Rigid https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-Oscillating-Edge-Belt-Spindle-Sander-EB4424/100061671 2 for the price of one
  25. Bleach on wood? That would turn the wood white?
