  1. Very Nice cutting of a nice pattern Denny. You and some others may slap their foreheads at this question, but what is the purpose of dipping the finish in thin shellac? unless it is orange shellac and you want the colour, I must be missing something.
  2. That would depress me, seeing the amount of money I'd spent on blades
  3. There's a reason it's used for axe handles
  4. My wife calls that a "John look". The number of times I have lost something and gone back over everything methodically, then declare it lost and project buggered, the War Office will say, "Is this what you where looking for?" and yep there it was, any closer and the bloody thing would bite me.
  5. I use some to unblock glue bottles and then into the bin.
  6. Top shelf Erv. Not a man I know who wouldn't love that.
  7. Nicely cut Les..

That is really nice Marg. Have you tried coloured felt as a background? I find it works really well.

  14. Amazing piece of work, creating an amazing piece of sculpture that will become an heirloom. Brilliant stuff.
  15. You sure live in a pretty area Iggy. Good to see markets opening up. Don't know when they will allow it to happen here. I'm actually in no hurry.
  16. Yes, I would remove the pieces with an X, however you have to be careful cutting the other lines as if they are cut right through to the intersections (as drawn) pieces will drop out.
  17. I can't remember if I showed this before. My Grandson and I made it for a project he had to do about Rome a couple of years ago. Griff wanted make a Trireme, but after a bit of discussion and looking at pictures he changed his mind, thankfully Poppy and Griffin got top marks I can't find any stills. if I took any. 00002.mp4

  24. Cheap at half the price. A great score. I couldn't get a piece of pine that size for that money. Now looking forward to seeing what uses you put it to.
