  1. Good idea Jim. it should attract some interest. Couldn't do that in Kalgoorlie, somebody would knock of the tablet.
  2. What a great idea and gift Don.
  3. Good stuff
  4. Thanks heaps all. I did about $250. Markets started at 9 and go 'til 1pm, We got home by 12. It was a real stinker with the thermometer on my veranda reading 47c. As for the Molten chocolate and cooking eggs .....
  5. Both are very nice. You did a super job on the sign. I had one of those band saws once
  6. Thanks Ron. Radiata Pine with Jarrah Trim.
  7. You are welcome to as much as you like Gary. My thermometer, under the veranda read 47c.
  8. After the post in the topic regarding spray booths, I thought I'd mention my turntable. All it is is a piece of19mm chip board, about 450mm diameter. I fitted 4 small casters under it, and a 12mm (1/2") bolt protruding about 50mm (2" ) from the bottom. The bolt drops into a hole in the centre of a bench. It can easily be removed and replaced as needed.
  9. Very nicely cut. Charlie does some great patterns. I'd cast my vote with Jim and Be-o-Be. Just give it a couple of coats of clear. I ,personally, don't like the look of stain on Fretwork, especially when cut from Birch or pine as it tends to look blotchy. JMHO
  10. Very nice, there are some delicate cuts there.
  11. A new design I put together. We'll see how it goes tomorrow at the markets. Going to be a hell of a day with a forecast 44c.
  12. A very nice looking box Dick
  13. Here is pic of my set up. Right hand wall is hinged so it can fold back against the shed wall, I have never done that . I have a large turntable on the table, which can be removed.
  14. @octoolguy I still bottom feed too Ray. I tried doing the top feeding, but just kept on bending blades. I find that 90% of the time I don't have to look where the hole is.
  15. I have a 5'x4' booth in a corner of the shed with a couple of exhaust fans in the wall at the back and a fluro light above. Works pretty good for painting and polishing, however it could really do with more powerful fans.
  16. Congratulations on the new toy. looking forward to hearing how you like it.
  17. Congratulations on a great sale.
  18. Another couple of winners Kevin
  19. That is truly magnificent Rolf. The addition of the sword places it in a completely new dimension.
  20. That looks good. I'm impressed at how well the reverse came out.
  21. I like that a lot. The tray idea for a thicker puzzle is great.
  22. G'day Oscar, I'm glad you life is taking a turn for the better. I'm going to throw another blade into the mix. I mainly use FDUR blades, but for thicker timber such as 25mm or above I find the Olson PG blades make short work of it. I have a very small selection of Pegas, bought about 10 years or more ago. I get my blades from Wooden Teddy Bear along with other items and as they don't sell Pega I have not had the chance to try them out. Have fun
  23. Well done Edward. We have few markets left before Xmas, so it's noses to the grindstone for a few weeks.
  24. Some shows seem a bit of bust, but if I've covered the stall fee and came away with a few bob in my pocket I shouldn't complain. I do though As Dad says "It;s better then a slap in the belly with a wet fish"
