  1. I came across this site with quite a few free plans. There is a whole series on Canadian cities plus other stuff if you want to fossick through the projects. https://www.canadianwoodworking.com/search/node/scroll
  2. The tree is nice, Is it a family tree with places for the names? Once again you win the Cupi doll Kevin.
  3. Gary, Sam Custodio has some very nice patterns of veteran and vintage cars. Go to his facebook page and look at the photos. All free Sam's facebook page cheers
  4. I had a subscription for many years and even had an article printed in one edition. I got a lot of enjoyment out of the Mag, but found that I very, very rarely cut a pattern. I Cancelled my sub about 7 years ago when I gave scrolling a break for quite awhile.
  5. That's an impressive piece. Loved the old Western TV shows.
  6. Really nice Irene. If I was a fireman I'd love it.
  7. More than enough to do a tree. Tis the season.
  8. Very nice Gary. I like the way you have converted the design into a potpourri container.
  9. You nailed it Brenda. I reckon I'd need a few stiff drinks before attempting something like that to counteract the dizziness.
  10. As kids we used to love peeling the layers apart and eating them separately Mum always had a lolly jar full of these, after all the kids had left home
  11. Get the Darrell Lea one Marg, from a chemist. The Coles brand is crap.
  12. Very nice.
  13. You have a special way of making personalised items absolutely unique, Kevin. Well done mate.
  14. Very nice and touching Brenda. A great gift. The saying is so true, my little blue healer mate, Wazza, died about 5 years ago and I don't think a day goes by without him entering my mind.
  15. She should be very happy with that.
  16. I do like black liquorice, but strawberry is my favourite. Liquorice all-sorts are also pretty more-ish
  17. This is the way we learnt at tech, when I was doing my apprenticeship. Oval coffee tables and dinning tables where the thing and we marked out the tops like this. Simple and accurate.
  18. You've got it Kevin. Great gifts
  19. Bet that was a great day out. Would love to see something like this. thanks for the pics.
  20. I think I could take him to work and present the little fellow to the boss on my last day Something Johnny Paycheck sang about BTW nice job
  21. That is an absolutely marvellous piece of work Namunolie. It would be hard to find a more poignant way to entice you back to designing and cutting A great memorial for a very sad event.
  22. That is really neat. It's good to see a cutting of a sport I understand
  23. I have found QTE a delight to deal with. I have only purchased the Pegas blade clamps from them, but their service second to none.
  24. I have cut large pieces on the Ex21 and have not found the small table overhang a problem. No matter what amount of overhang there is, the piece you are cutting will determine how far away from the blade you are. I can understand wanting a larger table, all around, if you are cutting large piece out of 3mm ply that is very delicate (like Charlie Deering does). I think in that case you'd want a larger table then any of the off the shelf saws.
  25. I don't use one while scrolling, I do however wear a disposable mask when sanding or machining timber in particular Jarrah and Western Red Cedar.
