  1. Makes me weepy that one. "Does the Wind Still Blow in Oklahoma" and "If you see her If you see him:" are just a couple. She has such a powerful voice.
  2. Yep, that's my favourite. I've actually got to order a couple more.
  3. Beautiful. I would never of thought of teal, but it works. Heldas does some nice patterns.
  4. If I had to guess which was your 1st, I would of said Clint, not because it's bad, but it's a simple cut. I have made a number of them. I did notice a glaring omission ................................................... No Reba
  5. I use a 180g Bob, for the same sort of stuff mate. It softens the corners of puzzles and toys beautifully without scratching the surface, or knocking bits of your fingers Get the 2" if you can afford it.. I use a pedestal drill to run my mops. The finer one I use mostly for fret work.
  6. I reckon you could have a showing at a gallery with that lot Charlie. I have photo's of all mine If I hung any in my shed you would not be able to tell in a few months as they would be covered in dust. Just write prices on the back of them all, and I'll bet they go on ebay, not the fire when you give up the ghost
  7. Try the Olson Blades from Wooden Teddy Bear, Their Precision Ground and Mach blades are excellent. I use them for my stand up puzzles which and trinket boxes which use material fro 25mm - 50mm. I use FDUR for fretwork.
  8. I believe so Bob. They tend to last a long time. Note that a 180g is probably about as aggressive as a 220g and a 220 about a 360g
  9. You are really churning them out and knocking them all for six Frank. I'm not going to pick a favourite out of this lot mate. All are top shelf.
  10. Nice one Charlie. I love Willies song writing. Hello Walls and Crazy would be a couple of my favourites. I saw a docco on "Trigger" and a fellow tasked with keeping it going, he had no easy job as was not allowed to alter the wear and tear. I must say it and Willie really go together, both weather beaten and seen better days.
  11. Nice job, and something the family will remember for a long time.
  12. Quirky and straight to the point
  13. A nice idea
  14. Good job.
  15. Bob, I also purchased my 1st mop, but have made another 3 of various grits just using a bolt as a mandrel. I usually get one or two refills when ordering from Kligspore as the refills are not too badly priced especially when you add in the cost of cloth backed paper and the time taken to cut and punch all the leaves. The last me for a long time, as I now mostly use Mac Mops.
  16. Very nice. To airbrush small pieces stick them to a board using blue tac or a piece of masking tape sticky side up with ends folded under
  17. I have a spray booth set up and use guns off my compressor. For satin finishes I use a 30%gloss wood lacquer and for gloss finishes I use autmotive clear. The automotive clear has the benefit of containing uv inhibitors. Two or three coats cutting back between each with 220 or 360 paper
  18. I haven't cut 3d for quite a while but I came up with an idea a few weeks ago. Will cut it and if it turns out OK will share.
  19. ONYA Barb, Funny how family end up with rejects I'd never do that......................................................................
  20. I used to have that problem every now and again on both the Dewalt and the Ex21. For years now I just drag the blade ends through a piece of 600 emery cloth and never a problem. Occasionally I will lightly clamp the emery cloth between the blade clamps and pull it through.
  21. I had a look as it seems very interesting and at those sound levels, I'd love it, but Alas It's not avail;able in Oz at the moment and probably longer to get to the west. WA = Wait Awhile
  22. Don't know how I missed this one mate. A great pattern of a bonzer kid. Grand-kids are true treasures, Like you we have been lucky to have our young bloke near all his life. He lived with us for most of it. His mother expects me to be his Dad, but a Granddad is much more fun
  23. I don't have a problem with the MDF Dust Charlie, Scrolling doesn't really make it any worse than timber IMO. I do know what you mean by dust when working it though, the router is the worst. I have come of off a job looking like a snowman after some projects. I reckon I must look a sight when I take of the safety glasses and mask. I have dust collection on my saws and belt sanders and always have the windows and doors open to the shed. Hope you feel better soon mate.
  24. Step aside Pops, the kids are here ! They did a wonderful job Bruce.
  25. You haven't lost your touch. It is unique. I do like the use of various thickness's to provide depth
