  1. Thanks Jim!! I'll try it this evening. Once you've done it a few times it becomes second nature...it's just trying to do something the first time that's hard.
  2. Very nice! I haven't tried any of the cats yet...that one doesn't look too hard to do. You did a great job of it!
  3. Nice design and cut Jim! I'm working on a couple of ideas. Where do you get things like the rider, steer, etc. and how do you get them into Inkscape? I think I can work with them once I get it into the program.
  4. Congratulations Tammi! Very nice work!
  5. WOW!!! Those are some beautiful boxes!! It would take me 2.5 years not weeks...and what's left of my sanity They should be passed down to several generations.
  6. Looks great! Bet that took some time to cut!
  7. Beautiful job on a great pattern! Spray and go!
  8. Great looking plaques Les! Oak with different finishes? What did you use for a backer?
  9. How long does it take you to build up the inventory we see in that picture? I see by the next picture you did several of John Wayne. Do you normally take multiples of everything...or just certain items? Do you do shows all year...or just in the fall? I would like to do show(s) next year and am trying to get as much info from people as I can. Thanks for any info you care to share.
  10. Fantastic looking box John!! I really like that. Send some of that heat my way...I'm freezing my can off in Missouri!
  11. Beautiful landscape! Looks like the area I use to hunt pheasants in southern Nebraska. Did you design that with GIMP?
  12. When I lived in Hastings NE I had several good friends that were railroaders. Some with UP and others with Burlington as both lines went through town. I thought Randy was crazy when he told me he was a "frog welder". Then he explained what the "frog" was and how they repair I. I still think he's crazy, but that's another matter...
  13. Oh Heck...you didn't tell me this hobby required math!!
  14. It is a Steve Good pattern. For some reason it didn't come up last night when I searched "business card holder". I found it this morning scrolling through "desk accessory" and edited my original post. Thanks for getting me thinking Marg!
  15. Great looking Alex!!
  16. She did a very good job!! You taught her everything she knows...right?
  17. WOW! Fantastic job Rolf!! From the look of those pieces I would have loved to see the whole show.
  18. Thanks for finding and sharing this. It looks like the hot ticket for me as it is portable to take south this winter and would be great for my normal shop.
  19. Made a holder for my new business cards. Took it up to the flea market, I have a few things there, and the owner liked it so well she put it on the front counter right by the register! Her husband wants me to see if I can do something for his small engine repair business. It's another Steve Good pattern.
  20. Really great piece Ron!! What thickness did you cut? I really like that one, looked at it and a motorcycle on his site the other day. Now that I've seen what you did with it I may have to do this one!
  21. Great cuts! I did a Nebraska and Texas. Just a little different, I did a Russ Wood pattern. Like the look of these and plan on doing several this winter. Is that Baltic Birch?
  22. Fantastic display and work!!! I can see what you mean about the butterfly crosses...lol.
  23. Cool! They all look great! Very good idea!!
  24. Good looking box Dick!! I left the sides out of mine for a potpourri box. Next one I may put the insides in for a trinket box. Is that Walnut? I have a bunch of stains, Danish Oil, BLO, sprays of various kinds. But find myself reaching for Minwax spray poly, either gloss or semi, or PolyShades.
  25. OK y'all...here's my high tec finishing booth...lol
