we called the carbin create support number but couldnt get through so spike said hed try again on mondy...sigh id rather keep trying today but he has things of his own to do...

lol my daughter says im almost a horder myself lol he inlaws are the texbook horders like you see on tv...theve been able to get a few things would have other wise had to buy by going to there house....which they no longer live in....i have an emboridy design im going to puton a t shirt or sweat shirt that says ITS NOT HORDING IF ITS YARN!! LOL i could do the same message for wood and cloth lol

lol me to it seems funny to me now when my oldest daughters birthday comes around...shes been 25 for the last 4 or 5 birthdays!! lol she does not want to grow old gracefuly i guess lol

THE hardest paart would be trying to make the groves in the wood and getting them the right size to slide the plastic into....same with the sides..... humm wounder if this plan is do able or if i should try to thik of another way to make the aquirem...

ok iv mentioned before that i want to make a vertial aquram and put of course turtles and fish in it.... iv been stoped so far trying to figure out how to make the aquirem part....i have an idea now but dont know how good of an idea it is.... we drink a lot of soda and some of the bottles are kind of clear.... but i dont know if you would really be able to see the inside of the aquirem think i'll have to make it first to find out. anyway what i was thinking of doing was cutting both ends off the 2 liter bottle and then cutting a slit along one side... to open it up....i think id proubly have to cut away some of the excess plastic from the top in able to open it up enough to look more like an aquirem.... but then i have the problem of figureing out how to make the ends of the aquirem ... the plastic of the bottle is quite thin and iv played around with the idea of measureing the opening on the side and then using some piece of wood and trying to carve out a grove on each piece to slide the ends of the bottle in. i could i think then cut out from another clear 2 liter bottle some plastic for the ends and place them in a second grove on the wood thats holding the sides of the bottle opened....so the wood would have to be rather thick ..... then i'll have to find some screening to make a top....where i could hang fish and turtles with clear fishing line....and i dont know but maybe print out some kind of thing forthe back to make it look like theres water in it? normaly when i have an idea like this my friend ritia works up the pattern for me....but since she not here i have to try to figure out how to make it myself...im hoping spike will understand what i want to do and be able to help me with the measureing and making of the plan....its more like a construction project and hes good at that .... any ideas tips hints or suggestions would be greatly appreachetd!!! i love them both!! i tried clicking on the link but nothing happened....i would love to get these 2 patterns. my little brother has several dashounds and that leash pattern would be just perfect for him and his wife for christmas.... also the turtle...as iv said before i had to give up my beloved red eared slider turtle and id love to make that for me and perhaps have someone change the name at the bottom for me so it would say spock.... my beloved turtle s name.

i was really frustrated yesterday trying to figure out what to do about my cnc machine and the carbin create program but then God wispered in my ear google support! so i did and there are a few links and a phone number to call yea!!! spike said he will call sometime today praying they'll be able to figure it out... thanks for listening sometimes i just need to vent

well i dont think my first message got sent as i couldnt find it to add this.... what i said was that i havent done any crafting this week first because iv had drs visits all week and then because iv been trying to get carbin creat to work.... i have the carbin creat pro loaded on to this laptop...and the manual and vido on the other one. i was doing so good and thought all right this is making sense and it might take me a little while but its not as hard as i was afraid it would be.... i got through the whole first lesson with no problems at all really ( i did get help a few times from the sansit sight for my cnc machine ) but once i got everything loaded up and working the first lesson was great...i understand how to do the set up but in lesson 2 you put a circle into the gride which i have no problem doing but after that you click the on the circle to set it and then your suppose to get a certin screan where you can set the x and y axcess.... but i dont get that screen i get a different one....iv run and followed the lesson several times and i still dont get the right screen...spike even ran through it and he cant figure it out either were kind of stuck.... and like i said i think the people at the sight are either tired of my quetions, dont understand what the problem is or dont have an answeer because nobody answered my last post..... then God sent me a message as i was sitting there at the two computers....it came to me google carbin creat support...which i did... you can contak them several different ways but most importantly they have a phone number we can call... or rather spike can call talk to them and then hopefuly they'll be able to get it working then spike can show me.... calling for things like this is just another one of those things i cant do.... just thinking about it has shot my anxity panic sky high so im going to log off then play a game or while i watch tv untill bedtime and hopefuly fall asleep... being agoraphobic sucks..but then again it always has...at least this time i dont have to just give up because i have spike to call for me and hopefuly figure it out.

well havent gotten any crafting done lately----this week was spent running to vairous drs.....and iv been trying to get carbin create to work....i have caarbin create pro loaded onto this computer and the the carbide create vido and manual on the other one. I THOUGHT i was really doing good and finally getting somewhere with it until i got to the basic shapes section. in this section you put a circle into the grid and i have no problem doing that at all but then after you click it to set the circle i get a different screen at the top left corner then they have on the turtal... iv been trying to figure out what to do for a week.... i even uninstalled and reinstalled the program...i have carbine create pro loaded now but im still having the same problem---iv looked through the manual and theres no help there either.... iv been going to the sainsmart sight and they ve been very helpful but i think they might be getting tired of me now or they dont understand the problem or dont know how to fix it....no one has answered my last message.... if i could just get past this problem i think i could manage to use my cnc machine with downloaded patterns.... although i havent uploaded candle yet.... im pretty much at a point now where i cant do anything more.... because the scree im not getting has where you set the x and y axess.... so im pretty much stuck.... i wish there were someone you could call or have come out to help with this stuff.... i was begging to be so excited when i was following the tutorial and understanding it as i followed along and things were working right.... now i dont kno what to dolll i guess if i dont get any answer from the group by tomarrow i'll have to set it aside to collect dust...

i never take offense....one of the reasons im here is learn!! and no spike has not let me use the table saw yet and yes i will most defently go to youtub and i'll ask spike if he has it tuned...and will also watch those vidos ... wrighting dow use miter sled and not to stand behind the piece being cut off!! i really do wish the stores would get in some of the cheaper printers in because its so much easer to print these things out then to wright them out by hand!! lol ....oh we have a miter saw....could you just use that instead?

Thank you both!! unfrountly i dont have a band saw...but i do have a table saw...spike got it for me for valintines day....he hasnt let me actual USE it yet....lol i will pratice on some good sized scrap wood before i try using the table saw.....i was woundering if that would work but now that i know real woodworkers who actualy KNOW what there doing id ask first instead of just trying it. lol every notice as you get older people dont want you to do all the things youve been doing for years ? my kids have told me they wish i wouldnt do woodworking if im the only one home...do they think just because im 62 instead of 22 or 32.. im more likely to cut my fingers or hand off? or that iv forgotten what to do if i do have an accident in shop? not to mention regardles of age theres no garintee you'll remember what to do should an accident happen... spikes not as bad as the rest of my family (kids and siblings) but he is nervious about my using new large power tools if hes not home. lol he wants to teach me how to use the table saw....if he dosnt show me soon im just going to go on utube its not that hard i know but i do need to learn how to set it up for what i want to do.....and IF i can get all the stuff off my lath table i want to start on that again too....he shouldnt have fixed it for me if he ddnt want me to use it lol....oh well here iv gone and rattled on AGAIN!! time to get back into the woodshop!! going to try to get the baskit im making cut out before sheba wakes up and demands more attention!! lol and again THANK YOU!!

thank you!! ill-wright down for after christmas....we're not poor but we do have to budget out money and right now im buying and making for christmas lol and still trying to make stuff to sell on ebay. I had hoped to have enough new stuff made up by halloween to start selling again...spike says i have enough with all the boxes of stuff i have already made and in the to be finished boxes but until i get back into the swing of things and can get more things made in reasonable amounts of time i want to hold off a bit... im beginning to get a secudule of some sorts going...different times to work on different crafts and its beginning to work out pretty good. only the woodworking is lagging behind and thats because Sheba is so clingy these days.... she dosnt just want to be in the room with me....there are dog beds in the woodshop and hers is on a chair right next to mine like in the kitchen...but she wants to be on my lap or at least able to lie her head on my lap..but in the wood shop she cant do that....so after im in the wood shop for 15-20 minutes she makes her way in there and starts barking...lol and dosnt stop until i stop what im doing and pick her up and take her to the living room to sit in my chair with me. The family says im spoiling her to much and letting her get away with murder lol in some ways there right....but she has given me her whole life....always at my side since she was 6 weeks old....still performing her job even now... and now its my turn to take spical care of her. my little blind dog with no teeth and slightly senial...i dont know how much longer God will allow her to stay here with me but i charish every minute of being with her and anything she wants within reason i will give her...she deservers it.

well finally time to wood work!!! but i have a question....when we bought this house 5 years ago there was a large pile of sticks and different sized tree branches in the back yard. without a truck well its still back there.....iv been looking on the inter net for patters and ideas and such and iv found tons of ideas for making things with you got it twigs branches tree limbs....a lot of the things require cutting slices from the smaller branches to make ornaents and snowmen amoung other things.....now iv tried to cut the slices with my scroll saw but i have a problem with the slices breaking while im trying to cut them into slices.....could the wood be to old and dry? and if so would putting linseed oil on them help any ? or is there another way to go about cutting the slices from the brances?

lol so true you see God has a sense of humer....im sure of it...other wise he NEVER would have put an hungary gypsy with an agoraphobic woman!!! lol were going on 16 years in Jan and i could count on one hand how many fights we've...im sure we MUST have had one or two by now but i'll be darned if i can think of one ! lol He stays home more now and when he first came i went out more then i did before he came.....unfrountly a few years later my dad died....and right after that my first service dog Charlie had to be put down...he like sheba was extreamly old...the only thing i couldnt do for him was walk...one day ( he had become a bit senial) started walking to me then stoped confused of where he was so i walked over to him and said here i am come to mommy charlie then he had a moment of clarity and stood up but when he tried to walk to me his hind legs gave out...i tried to help him up but his hind legs would no longer support him so we had to call the vet for an emergcy visit and have him put down.....with those 2 losses i started slidding back a little bit...but i lived right behind mom and she would have non of that....she MADE sure one way or another i got out of the house at least every few days....then 5 years ago i lost mom....and to say iv had another set back would be an understatement. sigh im sure shes turning in her grave and is sure to let me know about it when i die and go to heaven lol i was going to try to get our more this summer but then the viris hit...between that and the social unrest these day im having enough trouble trying to keep the anxity and panic under some kind of control with out trying to get out too...so about the only time i go out now is to see drs.... sorry to hear about the problem you had with the neighbor! now perhaps IF he had told you what he wanted in english you would have had a better meeting of the minds!! not sure why he would pretend he couldnt speak english when ordering the peice....common sense would tell you its more important to speak the same langue in this case english when your ordering a coustom peace not after its done! oh well gotta get off here and rearrange some plants...we put up two hooks in the bedroom to hang some plants and i have to look on the plant table and see if i have 2 that aare small enough to hang and hopefulymake room for the two big pots i still have on the kitchen table! lol

well iv got all the plants that needed repotting finally done....and it only took 3 days! i can remember when i could do it all in one day...oh well lol and id love to get back to woodworking and other crafts but now i have to try and find places for all the plants!! the 2 largest ones are still on the kitchen table which is of course where i do most of my crafting and then theres some on top of the chest freezer and the dryer...sigh i was able to get rid of 5 of them by giving them to my sister brother and nephew... iv found 2 plant hangers so i can hang 2 of the smaller ones in the bedroom on the hangers....what im going to do with the rest is beyond me....my pastor is going to ask around and see if anyone in the village might want some...i think tomarrow i'll ask spike to go over to our new neibhorss and see if they might like a plant or two....i just cant really do anything in the kitchen or anywhere else until i find some place to put the plants and i can here my wood shop calling to me! espicaly since spike got me some more 3/4 inch pine... so i have more then just scrap wood to work with. well thats what im up to...if i ever get my kitchen cleaned again and all the plants some place safe from frost i can get back to my woodworking and maybe even get a few things done! then i'll actually have something to talk about and show well im off hope everyone is having a great day and night!
