well that clears things up octoolguy… I do believe have mentioned I am not the sharpest tool in the box!!! lol add to that insomnia and trying to do several things at a time....well some people call me a digbat!! lol which is ok by me as im having a ball and enjoying myself now that I can. lol like I said it drives spike poor man that he is right up the wall!! lol when I asked him if we might be able to get the sandblaster up and working this year he said I THOUGHT you were doing woodwork? lol and I havnt told him im going to h ave to bring the sewing machine out soon to sew together the patterns I have cut out and pined together lol and thanks everybody for the information.... im pretty sure how to cut it now after I get done with the stuff im doing right now….like I said I don't know where the pattern came from....it could be just a picture I took out of a book for all I remember.... and yes I get a lot of my patterns that way...hey when you cant draw you have to adapt and find pictures you can use as patterns.

your welcomed jollyred….iv been crafting since the 70s and started doing woodworking in the middle 80s...so a very long time!! I love just going through my patterns and looking at them and setting this one aside to do and that for later. I asked spike if he knew where my pattern books were...and got them out for me.....he put them in a gray tub you can get at like myjers and Walmart, so they wouldn't be in the way when I was layed up.....spent all day yesterday and half the day to day just going through them and of course now there are even more things I want to make lol keven I worked in the school liabray when I was in high school so I do KNOW HOW to set things up by letters or number or by subject and or by medium.... unfrountly my home is NOT a liabray. lol iv tried to organize my patterns, and books, and cds and dvds in an ordaly fasion but id need a much bigger house!! and every time I get something new well then I had to almost redo the listings for each craft, book, dvd, cd or tape not to mention all the different patterns I have for all my different crafts on the computer!! lol when I was looking through my craft books I found some books on sandblasting and on glass etching....I can do both I have 2 ingravrs for glass and all the stuff to sand blast once I figure out how to set the sand blaster up!!! I even have a blasting cabnit I inhearted from my ex when he died....im going to look through the blasting book and see if I can figure it out and of course theres always the net now that things are getting nicer around here....just have to find the time lol never enough time to do everything I want to do lol

hi guys just stopping by to say hi and update you things here. today i havent done any crafting at all lol i have a head cold so stayed in bed most of the morning before my brain decided to tell me idoit!! go take some cold medicine!! lol acutily i had thought about it for a little bit but that required getting out of bed to go get it. lol Sheba and Henery however decided to jump on me until i got up to let them out lol so i grab some cold meds while i was up, let them back in and layed down for about another half hour then got up. Then my brother came over to visit and took scrolling time on hold and then i asked spike if he know were my scroll saw books were...he wasnt sure but we pulled a plastic tub out of the bedroom closit and there they were!!! yea!!! he had put them away when i was layed up so iv spent the rest of the day just looking through the pattern books....and oh my we are going to have to get more wood!! lol iv only looked through half the books so will spend some time tomarrow looking through the rest and yes putting bookmarks where all the patterns are that i want to make right away lol which will never happen because i also have all the downloads iv been looking through as well as all my wood pattern folders. lol but at least i finally found the dragon pattern someone wanted so thats good lol well since i really dont have anything to say i'll pop off and talk to you again nexttimelol

ok I don't know where or when I got this pattern, but as I said until recently I hadn't got into the woodshop for almost 2 years....and my memory isn't the greatest. now I THINK I know how to cut this but just to be on the safe side and so as not to waist any wood, when I put this on the wood I cut out the lines right ? and the parts that have the x marked are places where I cut all the wood away. no rush with this because even though I have the small blades now I still have to get some really small drill bits...thanks !!

ok since this is not a pattern I have made im not sure where to put it so im putting it here...I have finally found the dragon pattern I used to make the paper towl holder. im not sure where I got it, somewher I line is my guess. there is nothing written on the pattern saying its copy protected or even where or who made the pattern....I try to wright the names where I get my patterns now and if they are abale to be sold and who make them now.....because I have so many patterns in diggerent crafts that I cant remember. a hint for pattern makers..when you make a pattern it would be real helpful to the people who down load if you put the sight, who you are and weather your pattern can be sold or not right on the pattern so we don't make mastakes. since I used this pattern and the 2nd one for selling on ebay im pretty sure its alright to do so....id send you to the sight where I got these as most people want you to do that...but no where on the pattern does it say..the first dragon is another dragon I use for the paper towl holders and then of course the second one is the dragon pattern from the paper towl holder I put as a finished project. I don't remember who asked for the pattern but here it is!!! sorry it took me so long to find it!!! enjoy!!

ok years ago I scanned this picture from a book I was reading at the time into my computer then printed it out and put it in my woodworking patterns. I would like to try to cut this out as a fret work piece but im not quite sure how to go about doing it. if I I just leave it the way it is would I cut out all the black or all the white...and would it be able to be cut just the way it is ? and if not could some one please turn it into a fret pattern for me? thank you for any help you can give me/

iOk so theres no mastake these are some things i have made in the past!! The first one is a cute pattern i got from who knows where lol i made a few these some for stock and some for friends who have cats...now that i have a cat im going to have to make one for me !!The main piece is 1/4 inc baltic burch and the wood type frame around it is from some wall panneling that i had left over then from when i helped my ex put the panneling in my moms rental apartment. which years and years later i wound up living in after my last 2 children moved out. lol and yes i have wood and supplies that are still around like 20 -30 or more years ago lol the next one is a pig hear no evil see no evil and say no evil pattern and no i dont remember where i got that one either!! and you will notice the fence is made from yet some more wood pannaling left over from when the ex and i did another room in moms apartement!! lol Spike is always asking if i EVER throw anything away. lol my answer..not often!!! lol then theres the 2 toy cars . i made a lot of those and they dissapeard almost as fast as i could make them ! lol i proubly could have made a little bit of money on cars if i had sold them but they never got into the stock boxes lol sometimes word of mouth isnt the best thing!! but knowing the kids would love them was all i needed to know lol i have 4 or 5 different car patterns like this. next is the 2 compound cut snowmen. one just standing and the other on a slied the last one i might have already put up once but since i cant remember weather i did or not i put it lol this is what i do with my scrap wood i make little chunkeys.....kids seem to like them a lot and i use them a lot when i make tick tack toe games. lol some i just put in little cloth bags and i usuly just give these away unless there used for like little barns and fences or little house i sometime make. i am working on a few things in the woodshop and when i gt them done or almost done i will put them up and now since the mayor is on AGAIN talking about the corana virise im going to cut my break short and do some more cutting lol everybody hav a great day!!! an
